this smells fishy. DK rings never have this high dmg on one slot.

sorry, don't buy that for 2 reasons.

1) I kept track of all the enchantments which I had on my items, from green to legendary. So I know pretty good what enchantments can be expected. A single 30+ dmg on a DK ring isn't one of them. You show 2, not upgraded !, rings with with 4 slots well ove 30 ... ... no way !

2) lot's of end gamers are farming low level rings to get 4 * 1 dmg so they can upgrade them to 4 * 24 dmg. Do you really believe so many are farming low levels if it where possible to get 40 dmg more on a single not upgraded ring. again NO way !

So what will it be ? Is it a fake of did they hack the game ? In either case, dev's could easily say if such ring are possible or not. < perrush yells at dev >

edit : looked at the video again and saw that it was a character from Vietnam. This makes things different. Don't know what the stats on other server are. But on Heredur or any other common server (and you are on such server ?) this isn't possible.

That's a fake. Level 43+ damage enchantements for DKs give +8 to +21 damage (except for 2h weapon).

 

you dont know what is possible in that game search them and u will see) and low level items make +40 if you find the goood one) but level 45 still the best)

My Guild Master recently mentioned to me that the damage enchantments on higher-level items were very under-powered (compared to low-level upgraded items) due to a "bug" in programming, and there was a "silent fix" (those of us who have been around a few years know all about those). He said a damage enchantment on a high-level ID'd item can now reach +39. Now, presented with this corroborating evidence, I'm inclined to believe it is true.

Thanks, daywaker2, for posting this. For the naysayers, "I find your lack of faith disturbing". The only constant is change. I'm sure some of you are not pleased that your high-powered items have now been demoted to medium-powered, but that doesn't mean this is a hoax. I guess it's time to go back to map2 and collect equipment and CoTs

 

And here are my arguments for "Yeahsayers".
This person have 2 videos on youtube. In the First video you can see his stats and in the Second video (this one) you can see his gems.

Now ... by the amount of andermants, gold, glyphs and game release ... you can conclude that those 2 videos are made in the same time.
In the second video when he is showing of his gems you can spot that in one single item he have 5x100 Diamonds (sacred) ... still in the first video he have only a 833 resistance.
Hmmmm ... If he have all sacred gems and his HP is not over 10K ... then you got to ask yourself a question: What kind of level 45 DK with all sacred gems have 833 resistance?
What? His other slots are empty? If filled with amethysts his HP is too low, if filled with cianite his armor is to low....
And what kind of person buys more sacred rubies and sapphires than he have slots in focus and weapon?

I say this is fake ... and used cheat software for "temporary" effects.
Let him make a video where he is changing locations and still have those stats and gear.
At the end of this post ... I point my finger to Devs and Admins ... to investigate this account.

 

Well, I suspect the truth will come out soon enough so we won't have to speculate.

My personal experience is that my GM (a man with "connections") said, about five or six days ago, that +39 dmg would be the top end for a lvl 45 item. Now it looks like exactly that has happened. That is hard to chalk up to coincidence, no?

 

This could explain some part. If it' true, we soon know because some will still identify some legend rings.

But you have to admit that this is a "strange" character. He seems to have lot's of money looking at his gems. Yet he didn't even upgrade his cape or rings ?

I agree. Some things look less than kosher about this character, on first look.

But, then again, who can know the mind of another individual. There may be pseudo-logical reasons for these inconsistencies, or the old expression "more money than sense" may apply.

I don't know what has happened, honestly. I'm not ready to totally commit to any "truth". I just know what I've heard and seen and they seem to support each other.

I'm not really looking forward to ID'ing other stuff, but what use is even a great-stats ring of death when there are +150-and-up-damage lvl 45 legendary rings out there? And my weapon decoration with its measly +17 dmg enchantment? Looks like, if this turns out to be the new normal, I'll be farming again. And again... and again.

 

Just to confirm many of your suspicions, the stats in the video are false and do not match the actual stats on this character.

 

yeap cus is imposible to have those dmg in 45 lvl anc ciritcal

 

just think about... 24 million players and we only hear this guy has those rings?... as simple as that (okham razor)

EDIT: However, my guild members are reporting finding lvl 45 items with +37 and +39 damage enchantments. So, for me, the rumor is confirmed. Another "silent" update
