What do you guys think of the rangers' blade dance immunity from all damage? Doesn't it seem strange that they're completely immune to all damage when blade dancing? I've seen rangers that blade dance down my machine gun turret with complete immunity, and they can do so at least 4 times, so it's just a convenient way for them to avoid all damage, like unlimited jumping. This allows rangers to get out of any sticky situation simply by dancing away while invulnerable to all damage and stuns that hit them.

They are not "immune" while blade dancing. You can still do damage or stun them at the end point of their blade dance. (Yes, even when they are mid air).

Seems like virtual immunity though, even though my shots connect with them at their dance starting point, it does no damage while they skip away. Stuns only work if aimed after they're done dancing and are still, or else they can keep dancing away.

    Also, "dancing" :)

Yes, so? Whats your point? Its the same for any other classes. You won't do any damage to any class at the starting point when they use jump/teleport.

Yeah that's my point. (Well, it's a bit different because blade dancing literally allows rangers to become invulnerable, that is, even when shots connect with their body, they suffer no damage.) Like I mentioned, it's like unlimited jumping with invulnerability, which seems like an unbalanced advantage when it can allow rangers to escape any situation undamaged.

Like I said before, rangers don't become invulnerable when they blade dance. The instant they hit the button, they become vulnerable at the end point of their blade dance. And its not unlimited jumping. Blade dance with shortbow costs 38 concentration. With that you can make about 3 blade dances provided that you do not want to use other skills. There are builds that allows you to spam them more but every other classes have builds that allows them to spam skills. The difference is that blade dance does not do as much damage and is used mainly for escape.

    1) now only few players use that skill
    2) you are not immune, is like jumping without cooldown (except concentration recovery), and btw, if i'm not wrong, with dwarf you can do it too, using jump that need steam :)

Let's nerf the Ranger some more. They are clearly superior to the other classes in every facet of this game.

This is false, play a ranger yourself before speaking about something you know nothing about.

    Wrong again, play-a-ranger.

This "invulnerability" is all well and good when playing against noobs, but against veteran PvPers, blade dance will get them killed. Like eedman86 said, they are vulnerable at the endpoint. Furthermore, their blade dance has a very long animation (relative to the other classes). During that animation, they are completely vulnerable at their endpoint which sits there for at least a half a second. Veteran players can target that end point and get one or two free hits, maybe even a stun or armor break (or both) and then that dancing ranger is a dead ranger. Sure it is annoying, but it isn't as amazing of a skill as you think it is.

You also can put your cursor over the ranger when he is Blade Dancing, and your character will auto-target him where he lands.

Well it is little annoying but not that much. My problem is low run speed (13% from boots, 2% gem, 11 points on knowledg) so ranger do 2-3 blade dances and run and i cry...i am noobas... i'll go cry some more

Remember when they use concentration for blade dancing they cannot do other powerful attacks. So, they just keep dancing and not much damage. that is all :)

Other classes have similarly powerful attacks and stuns.

Be careful when you are joking like this. BigPoint is unable to understand ironic statements, instead seems to really take care of every comment about nerfing needs.

At this point, it doesn't really matter to me. You can be silent and hope for the best, or be active and not let them feel adequate for the inadequate job that is being done. But I do agree, sarcasm is different for every country and it isn't very productive.
