    I'm confused o_O

I have these bruised golden geese, i can't sell them.
If i hold my mouse on the icon in my inventory it states the following:

Maimed, mangled and mutilated beyond relief, the once proud goose doesn't even merit another gander. Yet, in exchange for other items, it'll still fetch a higher price than a lame duck.

It ends with: Not for sale.

What i'm missing here? How do i exchange it for other items?
