Can some item buy with gold rather than andermant?

I have some problem with health potion, I very need it but it need andermant to buy it, can we buy the potion for gold? And just say it new potion that can't be used in pvp since I just use it on pve and I only 4 times doing pvp when I lvl 21, so maybe can you make the health potion purchased by silver?

Enter the Dragan cave now, you can get potions pretty much every entry by destroying those barrels.
If you do that repeatedly you should end up with a full stack of potions at the end of an hour.

Nope, there is no way you can purchase potions with anything else other than Andermant. Therefore, gather it and buy as many as you want (maybe wait for when there's a 25% sale on potions), or farm them (they can drop from any monster; you can also smash the barrels inside Castle Ravencaw... they drop potions quite frequently - not a full stack in an hour, like someone said above, but still).

 

2 or 3 hours of smashing barrels while farming and event questing in ravencaw and excavation should get you 20 or 30 potions. Do this every day of the event and you could be well stocked by the end of the event.

 

There is one way to get potions (universal helth potions) for gold. Gamble gold at the jesters and they come in rewards of 1, 3, and 5.
They aren't the most common, but I have over 300 universals, and most of them came from there, daily log in chests, and occasionally events.

 

But that's gambling, not straight-up purchasing. It's not a steady way of accumulating potions. Plus, don't encourage newbies to bet at the Jesters , it's a money-wasting hell-hole, and you know it.

Meh, if it weren't for gambling, I wouldn't have soul stones to help people that die (when I actually run in a group as opposed to soloing). I wouldn't have thousands of reds/purples to use on bosses only (now that they can't be used in PvP). I wouldn't have 300+ universal potions (that I don't use anyway). I wouldn't have a cool looking coin flip emote (that just looks cool, does nothing productive, but is considered a "jackpot item" anyway). And that is mostly from gold bets... too bad I haven't seen any % armor gems.

 

What else are you supposed to do with the gold? I keep about 1000 gold in reserve for the cape quests (need deadly shards and hate map1), but whenever my gold goes over 1100 i gambled 100gp away to see what i get.

 

You also use gold for crafting at a price of about 98 gold per legendary at LVL 45. That is rather steep, but given that the only thing I craft is 2H swords, it is not too bad.

 

I've stopped crafting completely and have started hoarding the gold in anticipation of the 140g crafting cost to come. And i should mention the gold BURRRRNS, it wants badly to be spent, gambled, tossed at the crafting table. My total seems to flash randomly at me from the corner of the screen with a popup bubble "spend me"

 

Yeah, I tried that concept. 2 words....epic fail

 

The best way to handle that is to set a daily goal to bank each day or week, and anything earned in excess of that can be gambled. For example, I try to bank 50 a day. If I make 75, I can gamble 25. I do the same thing with ander. I want to bank 250 a day, but the remainder I can gamble.

Map2 gives good rewards. Most of us are there for the glyphs so that we have level 47 or higher gear.
