Well, if you want to know about the clowns:

100 000 ander brings in average:

1.2 Special gems (Random speed or armor gems)

    2.4 Gilded Clover

    2 6th tier attack gems (+15dmg, +xxx crit or +6.5% speed)

    62 attack gems (Low lvl)

    34 defense gems (Low lvl)

    8k Red essence

    14k Purple essence

    730 Lock picks

    2100 Gold

And normal stuff such as bombs, blue essence or potions.
Numbers are based on about 650k ander in total. So far all drop chances have only been reduced over time, so be careful.

My guess is that gold is less likely to have the good stuff. I gamble 100~200 gold every week or two and, gemwise, have only seen at best square gems (2d lowest level) and 1 clover. No special gems.

Still worth it, as I get plenty of red ess, purp ess, revive stones and lockpicks

Yep, I noted that too. Just in case somebody cares:

For 100 gold in 5 gold bets:

    3.2 Offense gems
    1.9 Defense gem

    88 Red Essence
    280 Purple essence
    368 Blue essence

    11 Lock Picks
    3.8 Stones
    180 Ander

Based on 9k gold in total.

    question from a noob.

What is 3.2 when wizz says 3.2 offensive gems?

    Thanks

3.2 in this case actually means 3.2

If you read his post again, you notice he actually gambled 9000 gold in 5 gold bet increments, but gave the breakdown for each 100 gold. So he did not get an integer because he divided it to get the rate of offensive gems per 100 gold.

(More simply, 288 offensive gems per 9000 gold would be 3.2 offensive gems per 100 gold)

Basically, most of the time you will get lucky and get 3 per 100 gold/20 bets, but sometimes you will get unlucky and get 2. Then on other really lucky runs, you'll get 4. There also exist the possibility for 0/20 or 1/20, or even 5+/20, but these are much less unlikely as they would start to fall outside the standard deviation.

The other important thing to consider is the PRNG... some times the RNG is more random than others. I've had runs of good luck that defye probability and I have had runs of bad luck that also defy probability. Basically, the PRNG get stuck in a rut.

Yep, variance in drops is a big thing if the probability is already low and some probabilities from the casino clowns are as low as it gets.
So one can blow easiely 200 000 ander without seeing a special gem or clovers. Sadly I do not have to assume in this case.

On the other hand, if all slots are bought and gems are on a certain level, you have to blow your stuff on something and at least here you can make statistics^^
