Anyway, opening the Circus only when DtU is on, is more logical. I would support this option.
It'd be a good idea to run the DtU more often, though, even once a month. It's not like people could get those pets so easily with the horrible doll body drop that there was this time; and people could get them lovely drakens.

But I also understand why some players want the Circus to be open non-stop. Sometimes there are no real events for months, and the amount of drakens and draken cores that can be obtained in the Moon events is not that amazing.

Once a month would be an ok compromise, wouldn't it?

How about this for a mini-DtU:
    • one weekend a month (same length as NM/FM) on any month that doesn't have another event besides NewMoon and FullMoon.
    • access to all 8 levels (T0 - T7).
    • cycles through the progress bars 1 per month (1st month: T0, 2nd month: T1, etc).
    • progress on bar for any level done same or higher than that months bar.

Moderators: It I get at least 3 likes for this post, then how about a questionnaire for this idea?

Ok idea, but … weaker players would get frozen out most months. I personally can do scaling dungeons on Painful without blinking, Excruciating if I'm paying reasonable attention to the action, but Fatal is still a stretch, even with essence, because my defensive stats are limited. Looks like we'll get maybe four non-Moon events a year, which means your DtU T0-T7 fill in the rest of the months, but I'd only get to run 3 months while you're doing all 8.

How about the short DtU events can be run at any level, choice of the user, so you'd be running T5, T6, T7, whatever you'd like, while I'm running T1 or T2, maybe even test myself on T3, but we'd each get 8 opportunities.

I know a lot of end-game players think events should be only for end-gamers, but I rely on events for incremental progress (I dropped ~15 gems from ~4 hours of New Moon play this weekend … that's the equivalent of ~30 hours normal drop rate for me).

Problem is that until now events were just for noobs, not rewarding well the endgame players and not being worth entering an event map in high difficulties.
nobody has said that noobs or new players should not or can not make an event, but when devs create different bars so that better prepared players are well rewarded, noobs are offended because they believe they deserve the same amount of rewards and complain that they can't complete the inf3 bar without taking into account that they have already completed the bar that belongs to them.

Max, I'm not trying to take anything away from you. I'm just asking for an equal opportunity to play the event at the levels I can handle. I have no problem with you running T7 with T7-worthy rewards while I run T1 with T1-worthy rewards.

I was not talking for you but in general. If you read the circus event feedback there are noob players complaining they are not able to "finish" the event, when actually they finished their event, the infernal progress bars were not part of their event but even with that they can be carried by someone else and obtain rewards by the face... and still complain.

You've miss-understood what I'm saying, thus the posts that followed you. I'm saying that only 1 progress bar exists per month, NOT 1 LEVEL per month. What I'm proposing would allow anyone to farm any of the DtU levels, but only get progress if level done is high enough to meet requirements for that month's progress bar.

Thus you would get to participate all, lets seee.. you said:, 8 months. However, if you can only solo up to Excruciating, then you'd only get progress rewards for 3 of the 8 months.

Ok. Updated my original description to eliminate the confusion.
