I know that, but it seems the rune is permanently removed from the game, even from the progress bar of minievent 1

 

On what basis do you claim that? I have checked it so I know that the rune is still present as a reward from the Challenge#1 progress in dailybuild_920 version.

 

Can anyone explain to me what will happen with our current core?
Can we trade them in for the core we want or are they automatically converted?
If auto converted tell me to which core please?
Will I suddenly find myself in abundance of 1 core and short on everything else?

 

i belive no they wont be converted. probably they will stay in inventory and devs increase theyr prices so you can sell them for gold.
and crafting is expensive as hell... for instance 4x legend crafting cost you 450 gold something like that

probably. open them up.
devs will rework pw ranking rewards pretty soon.

have they ever worked ?

probably not but keep them anyway. because all item will be modified so if you open up old legend item chests you have chance to get great golden lines on them. but you never know.

Honesly my mage has 4 of these winter stones ( i missed 1 year the event feelsbadman) and if the event doesnt give the stone then ill insta leave the game XD

 

lvl 50 is old news. legend chest are reworked.
as you see game gets lot of new things.

 

They'll be converted with a 1:1 ratio into materia cores, I believe.

1 Clover ONLY ???? It should be 80 or more, as the glovers on ts are like x80 from what we are now.

 

The old ones will be converted to the new ones... tho'... it's only the icon that actually changes as I've noticed so far.

 

What are you people talking about ... those are not Legendary chests
The question is about Legendary and silver Chests from Leaderboard Rewards.

I don't know ... but i wouldn't be surprised if they would be not working anymore ... so you would have to sell them for few coins. Just like all Daily Login chests + Daily Login Premium Chests are not going to work ... you can only sell them.
There are Some chests listed in this Announcement ... at the very bottom, it might be those chests.

ll Elemental and Solid cores will be converted to Materia core @ 1:1 ratio.
Everyone will have to farm the new core from 0.

I haven't seen a single challenge so far ... i might have missed them though.
I am sure they will not be removed ... WSF is once in a year type of event.

 

The LB reward boxes for gold/silver/bronze positions are:
box_leaderboard_single_gold
box_leaderboard_single_silver
box_leaderboard_single_bronze
box_leaderboard_group_gold
box_leaderboard_group_silver
box_leaderboard_group_bronze

If they do not replace the rewards with another item(s) then it is possible (can't be 100% sure) that content of current boxes will be the one defined by R213/R214.

EDIT - uuups, did a mistake and checked dailybuild_920 version. The current (R212_17) boxes are:
lb_single_gold
lb_single_silver
lb_single_bronze

They have changed the reward items so there is no reason not to open the current boxes in R212.

 

Bug: Khaly's normal silence area (no skills) too big.

 

considering what they did to the drop of draken cores, we can't sure they aren't total spiteful loosers and try to remove that

it's also strange to see that they didn't bother to introduce a rune to increase resources like mana/ rage/ concentration/steam

 

Question; if i buy in PW tp (teleport) now for all boss i can use them in r213/214 ? I ask bcs i hear price will up. Thx!

This was an error of "Cease fire" area setup. It is fixed in dailybuild_922.
More (??all??) elemental dungeons work now (tested Q1 only).
