Constant lag on tegan

Hi Tegan server users,

it is very evident that either the code which BP use or their maintenance on their servers is an issue. Lag has been a big problems at different times over the past year or so since i have been playing. However in the lead up to the event, it was terrible, then when the event launched it was OK, then a few days ago there was another "hotfix" and now the lag is so bad again i can hardly play. I know if your configuration because i have no problems on other gaming sites. I also know its BP because it co-insides with updates or hotfixes. I know i am not the only one here because my guild talk about it all the time, and so do other friends. Its also very evident with the total Lack of people at watery grave.

Does BP know that this is an issue?
Is there anything being done to correct this?

i really hope for some transparency here and hope to see a smooth running game operating again soon

I play several accounts on Tegan and am not having any significant lag problems.

If any type problem occurs right after a patch or hotfix then the first thing I do is clear the DSO temp cache. I usually clear my temp internet files and java cahce (N/A if running client) at the same time. Instructions for doing these are on the same page I have linked.

I second marhun's experience.

 

well i see agathon, grimm, khalys, werian ect server are going lag free. it has been 30 days and counting for usually large amounts of lag on tegan server. why dont we get the respect other servers do. the last dragan event was crazy lag and thats when it started when the implemented the new sound system. made countless tickets to support and seems its a computer operated system for tegan server. saying same thing . (DELETE BROWSING HISTORY DELETE %TEMP% FOLDER ECT). i paid well over a grand on my guy now sitting hear broke and no game to play. cant even farm with a group. way to much lag. cant solo, cant pvp. i checked khalys server half way cross the world from my server and its lag free ***. tegan server need more respect. this game needs better devs

Speak for yourself, I have a 67ms average ping to Tegan... maybe it if your computer/ISP.

So many people blame the developers first when they are in the minority. If a bunch of people were having problems with lag to Tegan, you may have reason to complain, but they don't (or at least none of them are complaining). Fix yourself and then blame the developers.

 

im having bag lag problems on agathon didnt have it before the last update so-could b my end but didnt have problem like this before some lag-but not freeze-then hit-freeze-so on-and by the time u realize ur losing health ur already dead-always when monsters appear is when it gets real bad

 

I would like to point out that he is not in the minority, I play from Australia, with tegan being the closest located server in the list. It has become routine now to experience heavy lag every single day. It doesn't affect just me, but a lot of my guild mates and people I group with daily mention this heavy lag. People don't complain on the forum because devs do nothing about it, but I see it frequently mentioned inside the game.

 

ATTENTION users. i found the problem seems when entering the game sometimes the sound is trying to load. notice it gets stuck in a loop. say im opening up my inv the sound of that opening up will get stuck in a loop. also notice sometimes the sound will get stuck and implement no sound at us thus leaving you LAG FREEEEEEE. however there is no way to disable the sound only to turn it down. ... im sure there are other factor but this being the main one. if devs can see this take a look into your new sound system that you just installed you will find the bug im talking about. thanks

how to play lag free. open device manager. disable your sound card and enjoy lag free game with no sound. of course there will be lag but not a much. sincerely Gles tegan serv

 

Sorry for bad English , try using an google interpreter to express views .

Then......Tegan PvP Arena Lag problem always sustained support many times ,
but for a long time did not get an improvement , already several months ,
also getting more lag and bug with new Patch .
Arena 5v5 now often invisible players , Arena 6v6 more Bug to an incredible degree .
Until now still do not see any of the rectification work ,
only see this Lag problem continue to be ignored and delays .

Provide for all players a smooth gaming experience not the highest priority ......?

Now play this game has become a kind of torture , how do we expect that the new content?
Tegen server population has gradually become less ,
because the fool Lag have been the last straw , many of the players and my friend quit game.

This is not complain , I believe Administrators will also feel irritable such articles .
But We pay and support for this game , we not to play the game Lag .
We need from DSO team give us a definite answer & promise , we have the right to do so .

I simply want to play with friends in this game only .
However , this desire seems to be too heavy ?

 

I fixed my sound lag with using the thin client to download all game data. Seems the browser way of loading the game does not download the content locally. The thin client downloads the game to your temp folder. Yes you will have to update your files every release update and hotfix.
