I know, people have already asked for a separate bag to stash this stuff, but hear me out first...

Make a "pouch" at the workbench so you can deposit all your cores from your inventory with a single click (or manually transfer, if for some reason you want to). You can then craft with cores directly from the pouch as it's stored at the workbench. There should be no limit to how many cores you can deposit, and of course you may withdraw at any time as long as you're at a workbench.

Moreover, just space-wise there's a lot of blank space on the workbench interface. I'm sure a few extra buttons to put cores in won't be too much clutter to manage.

It can be a bag and also showed them on workbench all cores so that you can drag and drop in the required slot of crafting when you need them.
They should go on the bag when you right click on them like all other currency.
Another thing that they ignore is the essence bag and events bag but in exchange they bring us visual skins for weapons and new cores.
At essence there can be a bag and you should equip them simple just need a little arrow button and when you press that button you have a little meniu with all essences to pick what you need.
One arrow on the main slot and one arrow on the second slot.
There are many things that can make our life easier but they choose to ignore our requests, so i don't know why i,m in this creative corner that should be renamed dead corner or invisible corner.
