Suggestion Costumes With Cloaks Consistency

    Prior to r171 the new Karabossa Cloak was visible with the new Shadow Costume, and pretty much every other costume as well. It looked really nice with this costume, but with r171 they butchered it and it no longer shows when you have this costume, and others equipped.

    Is there any way we can get some consistency here? It would be nice to have the option to have the cloak visible or not, perhaps in the settings menu? Or is it going to be chalked up to the "Transmog" feature that is still on the never ending back-burner?

    No. This costume was acting weird before R171 and could have been considered "bugged" and that R171 "fixed it." I'd prefer a Show/Hide option the same way people have asked for a Show/Hide Helmet option many times in the past.

    I can't get any cloak to work with the Shadow Costume now. It is behaving like the green Splinter Cell one, or the Cherokee Indian one, or the Dive Costume, etc. My cloaks work on the Dark Mage and White Mage Costumes.

    It was a bug that you couldn't hide the cloak with a costume. I tried now with 171 and it is working normally.
    Some costumes are meant to show the cloak and some not.

    And how are you going to...
    "Vanish into the gloomy and spy on suspects."
    ...If your cloak is showing?:p

    I also noticed that the essence costumes have been turned into a new "decorative" category and can now be used together with another costume.

    I don't like to see the cloak (after all why serve costume than to hide equipment) and I'd like to see a white version of new Shadow Wanderer Costume... for all of us who love black and white versions of the costume and mount together :cool:
