daily challenges not working properly

I have completed two daily challenges in the past two days and each of them says congratulations, here is your reward--but nothing happens after that. I click on the icon, and it never goes into my pack--maybe an hour later its there, maybe not. this feels like a bit of a glitch...

 

Do you remember which quest reward you selected?

 

yes, both of them were "complete two quests" and both of them were quite firm about my having completed them. Which i had. the first one did come through eventually but as of last night, after several hours, the second one was still congratulating me...

i have also noticed that when I am fighting and my Rage runs out the battle icons for the various fighting moves disappear from the tray totally. they dont just grey out, they have to be replaced manually, one at a time, from the skills menu. Not a good thing in the middle of swamp monsters. Why i think it might be a glitch, it doesnt happen consistently.

I haven't had that skill-glitch issue and I'm using the Thin Client. You may want to consider using the Thin Client as well if your issues persist. If you're already using it then I'm not sure what to tell ya other than that there's a new official version-8 of Java that you might want to check out. That's the version that I'm using and I haven't experienced that skill-glitch issue.

I have encountered a great deal of rubberbanding/lag in various maps/areas the entire time that I've been playing. Very disorienting and irritating to experience. There aren't hundreds of players near me, just (maybe) less than 10 total on the entire map. It is just me and some AI mobs, so I shouldn't be getting rubberbanded almost every time that I rage-jump at them. >_>

not sure what rubber banding is, and have no idea what Thin Client is (yeah yeah, I know--google it, lol) and since i have Java's latest, it very well may be my browser. I use Chrome, because of the tabbing, but I may just switch and see what firefox and IE have to say. the sad thing is, Ive leveled up fast enough so that what was a geewhiz reward yesterday will now be salable at your nearest merchants and not much more.
But thanks for the idea. gotta go check that out.

The good news is, for once IE outperforms Chrome. I downloaded the java thingy and between that and downloading the game and playing it in IE instead, I think we have a winner. T.F., thank you. If not for your comments I never would have thought of switching to IE for this. (and the fancy sword I got was still good to go.)

Ohhh I think I know what you mean, when you lunge forward and get pulled back over and over...that must be awful. good luck with that one, too.

 

@tillyblue What was the missing reward for your daily quest? Has anyone else been experiencing similar problems?

In regards to missing skills, you may be accidentally dragging out individual skills during battle.
