    Change the good, keep the bad, aaaaaalright!
    So many changes and the most simple ones they could have done that the entire community would have been grateful about are not an option, as an essences bag and remove the buff icons or change location or make them visualizable with a drop-down tab.

    I am reminded of a game I was playing 3 years ago, but we can't mention names in this forum. In that case they left the original game in maintenance mode, but everyone quit anyway. They added legends to the end of the game title for the new game. The mechanics in the new game sound a lot like what you all are talking about. Such as dumbing down of combat, some new locations, total change to the hotbars, less keys in the hotbars, changes to the *skill tree*, and large changes to abilities. There was a large infusion of cash when the game first started as the whales moved in. People wanted to like it because they remembered the old game, but it was terrible to play. That game still exists, but very few are playing it now. So, I've been playing this one to relive some memories in my mind before it is time to give up entirely.

    You have to work at the latency of some skills. I have runes to reduce the cost of mana/concentration and runes to regenerate mana/concentration but they have nothing to reduce due to the latency. Therefore these runes become useless.
    The second thing is related to the allocation of experience points for a skill. It is very unimaginative to increase by 1% or 2% the damage for each level, it is better to increase progressively. This will motivate you to maximize that skill in order to increase its range and\or produce side effects.
    If you have 115% damage at 0 points and 130% at 10 points, there is not much difference, you can play without. Especially the strong ones that have very long latency.

    They trashed the game. It was already bad but now it's a disaster. Everything good about parallel world sets they brought out, item grades too, basically all the effort we put in. Skills are basic and not even remotely attractive, inventory aesthetics are gruesome. What I mean to get the runes or jewels in events in which we invest time is gone. For my part, after about 6 years of playing I reached the limit. Since I saw what is coming on the test server, I am not even interested in playing on the official server. So much so that I already started to see other game options on the internet (and there are many) because I don't like anything about this, not the aesthetics, nor the spells, nor the complexity, nor the equipment that comes ... I don't like anything at all and if we already played few, I think this could be called "chronicle of a death foretold".

    I started game on test server as dwarf and as mage. The way this game is unbalanced so far is astonishing.
    Dwarf skill tree looks quite ok, slow progress, first turret in level 15. Dwarf can only have one turret, no matter which one but on the other hand there is no range limit with 1-handed weapons so that's cool. You can now really play with 1-handed dwarf. I was struggling a bit but that flamethrower skill (unlocking with lvl3) seems to be pretty good except for the short range.
    But when I started as mage... 4 skills available from the very beginning, including fireball and lightning chain. Frozen Sphere, Meteor and Lightning Strike available since level... 6 (!) Generally when you hit level 15 you have unlocked ALL SKILLS. As mage you choose your mastery with level 30 (dwarf needs 40) and passive skill with lvl 30 (dwarf needs 50).
    With dwarf I was struggling, as mage I am destroying everything. Never seen this game been so unbalanced... of course it will be changed for sure but still... this CE looks very incomplete. Shockingly incomplete.

    EDIT: Sorry, same thing with Ranger, all skills available with lvl15... maybe they are doing this on purpose to let low levels test skills but they did not do this with dwarf.

    I also played that game, too bad the second one changed for the worse and everyone left. Thinking about it makes me nostalgic.

    From what I have seen so far the hotbar and item icons looks so disgusting. Will it be the same when it comes to live servers or will they change it eventualy? Cause the hotbar and icons look way better now.

    I honestly can't understand the absurdity of some of the responses I am seeing. "You have more hotbars" as you get excited over 5 hotkeys. You know its like 1984. They minimized it to 3 keys, so that when they upped it to 5 (which is still a nerf) you get all excited at their generosity. I don't care about the combinations; people are rightfully asking for more keys. Every modern computer keyboard in existence today had more than 7 keys that could be used. A reduction is simply cruelty.

    As for the ridiculous number of buff and debuff icons that overwhelm the screen and play area, there should simply be a setting to disable them. This is not rocket science.

    Anyways I put up a poll regarding the release that I would like the dedicated players to vote in. It is not extremely comprehensive but it covers the basics and most players should be able to pick one of the 3 answers without worrying if they chose wrong, and you can change your vote. It will hopefully, a teachable moment for BP, even if it is too late:

    Suggestions & feedback:
    • Many skills now have "stacking" effects, especially SWs, and it is crucial to how many stacks have accumulated to optimize damage output. Please have an indicator of sorts, esp on bosses, how many stacks have been applied. I would suggest just some small icon next to the HP bar (eg. a little fire icon, and a counter that shows for example 10, meaning 10 stacks). I hope I don't need to stand there and count that I have 50 stacks of fire, ice, lightning, bleed, etc. :p
    • The Wolf Pack skill says it has a synergy with Adrenaline to decrease concentration cost. However, Adrenaline does not cost any concentration to cast. I do not understand this skill description.
    • Being able to unlock all the active skills by level 15 is frankly a new and amazing experience. It actually eases testing as all you need to do is get to level 15 to experience combos using all the skill (minus the masteries and passives, which are still important, ofc).
    • Rangers can have up to 6 wolves, a tree, plus their own body. That's 7 objects to collide with. Multiply by 5 and you have the most annoying party in DSO. While I enjoy playing as the new ranger, if I'm on the flip side, I would hate to play with a ranger in the party because I can never walk anywhere. Is there any chance at all that this collision feature gets removed?

    Typo list:
    • Ranger Master of Fire talent reads "Bird of Prey causen an fire explosion..." It should read "causes a fire explosion"
    Edit: There are only 3 difficulties of PWs left (Infernal, Merciless and Bloodshed). The achievements still say stuff like Painful, Excruciating and Fatal. In terms of players, if you don't have those achievements yet, I don't know what's going to happen to them, I'd probably hurry up and get them. :p

    Gems... There will be 8 new gems above royal. Not too much?
    Making for example royal from simplified amethyst - takes 1350 dust.
    Making exquisit imperial gem from simplified amethyst - takes 70150 dust!
    Imagine that all your royal gems becoms just polished right now - its same scale...
    Your current royal amethyst will be like 2% of a new one meta gem...
    98% of you costs (time, andermant, money) is beeing stolen, throwen away.
    How do we players feel about that?

    Still trying to make sense of some of these "features":

    Crafting consumables is prohibitively expensive; health orb drop rate was nerfed dramatically a long time ago; but we have 0.00 health regeneration ability? What equipment comes with an HP regeneration bonus?

    Daily Challenge reward does not necessarily include Ancient Wisdom ... have they increased the drop rate of Ancient Wisdom from mobs???

    ASIDE: Looks like the progress bar on the Skills & Talents Wisdom tab doesn't display. Possibly not working for Group or Honor, either. I do see a visual indicator on the Experience progress bar tab, but it doesn't match the HUD Level progress indicator.
    Neither of my test server toons (L41 SM, L44 RA) can craft random equipment, which is a precursor to gain the ability to transfer enchantments.

    Where / how do we obtain the rune & jewel trinkets? New quests? From?

    Why is the dwarf again stronger than other classes? Why all 8 years of the game - dwarf have an advantage over other classes, and once again development makes them stronger

    An armor-piercing shot deals more damage than a frost sphere, while the consumption of essences and steam is less for an armor-piercing one. Why? More damage - less consumption, is this logical? Everything is the same again dwarfensang online

    Does the new crafting system allow the transfer of gold lines? Does it allow raising the level of an existing item? I can see neither in my level 40 test toon....

    The new skills represent a lack of interest in this game.
    A little dmg and reducing the cost of resources for each extra point, does not seem a good solution compared to the skills we have on the Live server.

    In my opinion you could have put specific effects for how many points we want to allocate to an ability, for example:

    • Hunting Arrow (10 points) - Pierces the first two enemies (3p)
    Reduces the enemy's attack speed (7p)

    • Hornet cloud (10 points) - Apply a slowing effect ( 3p)
    The chance to stun the enemy (7p)

    You can also add a special effect for exceeding the maximum possible points of a skill with the help of items, such as:
    • Tree of life (11 points using a uniq item) - Taunt allied magicians for losing guardian ability

    You can do so much with our abilities to have new brighter combos but I guess you were lazy.

    Does anyone know what happens to Mortis or what is the end game now if the Q sets no longer exist?

    Green becomes Trapezoid (royal +1), and Blue becomes Refined Trapezoid (royal +2).
