I haven't played a single event so far. I am at half of the 4th progress bar with the winter event but I haven't played a single challenge.
Now there is no need to play moon events too. What for?
I haven't even thought on playing the Desert of BS event ... so i didn't know about the rewards
I have a self-respect, I don't play crap.

I have one doubt though. I don't know if this new messy joke was a part of the plan or it is just a plain ignorant incompetence.

 

@Strit555 This is worse then lvl 40 days. A Ranger could kill Khalys a thousand times and get a predator and it was game changing. This new game one item will not be game changing. You will have to have sets, not only sets but sets lvl100, lvl 120, lvl 130, lvl 140. With this kind of drop rate you will have to clear thousands of maps each harder then the time before. This whole CE is terrible.

 

Event are uncompletable now, maybe they want to go back to the early history of the game where you could only complete them through paying.

That's not expansion, that's regression, it appears that the developers and their shills haven't read the vocabulary.

 

I think it's really bad that you add CE for 45 levels but the content actually covers only about 8 levels.

Also, I don't like this is called the biggest content expansion yet, imho, the content added is very little.

I have probably forgotten something, but only about 6 new mobs were added (demon whipper, the demon with shield, the small shadow creature, the big shadow creature, the shadow "wizard", the materi things), 0 bosses, 0 new cities, and most of the maps are just recycled old maps. Oh yeah and 1-2 spells. ...I think this is sands of malice bad, but even there was a new boss added, the maps were simple but new, but don't you dare comparing this with Atlantis.

I like some changes in the game mechanics, but that's not content expansion, that means you ADD NEW content, the mechanics could exist without it, and are probably the only thing that holds this game from completely sinking.

 

I might be wrong but the full expansion is not out yet. I think they will be releasing things slowly starting Q1.

 

I can add nothing of value to the prior comments but I can say that a once very active guild now lies dormant. Congrats BP your attempt at polishing a turd even failed.

 

Yes and it's bad.

 

Items from secret map from brigavik are bugged(not all?!?). Those 12 or 16 points which increase vigor, decisive strike etc on wisdom don't count.
Example: I got the shoes with 16 poinst (on wisdom tree) on critic, my critic without shoes are 186.455 and with shoes i have 188.271 critic so i got exactly 1816, BUT my shoes have 1155 critic on them - 1816 = 661 critic from 16 points is unacceptable 99,99% those items have bugs it can't be 16 points = 661 critic ...
I try something new .. i reset all points on atac on wisdom .. i put only 64points on critic + 16 from shoes = 80 points and the critic is the same 188.271 so after those 80 points all extra points do not put.
I thought like what exceeds will increase further my status.
So it's a bug ?

 

Dark legacy update.
There are some good things about the update. The biggest plus is the new non-random crafting of things. Crafting stones and runes, introduced new stones and runes - this is also +. Reduced prices in the store for stones. Growth up to lvl 100.
But very serious disadvantages:
1.Very hard events. Log in 1000 times to complete the winter event. With such a drop of winter coins, you need to reduce the required number to open a gift to 500.
2. Knowledge is very poorly farmed.
3. Very fat mobs and bosses, why are they needed? It's boring. Mm you can't go solo.
4. Newbies cannot kill the boss normally. Why did they make the game more difficult for beginners?
5. There is no benefit from premium. For example, they could add drop runes to cubes and knowledge.

 

Another of the countless systems that they will try to timegate and fail miserably due to lack of any long term plan / vision of the game.

Probably, but that's what happens when you listen to EDIT instead of listening to constructive criticism.

Come to think of it, the level 50 expansion was on ts for months, not for a few weeks.
If they actually put it on ts in july or august it would have probably come out much better.

 

I agree and I would add if the CE would be on TS much more earlier, not only bugs would be discovered or fixed, not only event rewards would be "updated", not only skills would be adjusted, but also there would be a better transition to the new CE.
I admit I did some mistakes before the CE, I read the different "updates" from forum or from the supermegaexpert content manager and I focused on tier 10 items ("because all you effort will not be wasted") instead of to melt everything and open all my cubes to get gems.
A week after CE was release I was already lvl 100 and all my glorious tier 10 items were trash already when I got lvl 70.
Stupid me to trust people who should "guide" us in the game.
The CE was postponed twice because it was not "ready" and even that, it came out like this.
Sometimes I wonder if there is someone "higher level" in this company who read those feedbacks from players and understand that maybe things are not going so well with this game.
Up to now I don't see many feedbacks or answers from DSO teams except the answers when I put tickets about bugs.
Many players would appreciate a bit more consideration from DSO team.

The CM doesn't listen to feedback, he only listens to EDIT , he labels actual, real feedback as "hating the game".

 

It's true that this game has notoriously bad testing, it's obvious the content was not properly tested and the little testing done was done by overpowered characters.

 

I'm not surprised the game went so bad and it will end up shutting down next year with EDIT

Sure. Those testers played with max tier gems and runes so they never known the real issues of players. I've watched a guy played a ranger with max gems and runes (His main character on live server is Mage - lol) and he always said: "I really really love the CE", "It's pretty balance now", "Everything works well" ... bla bla. Then when the CE goes live, we all know what happens to ranger (and other classes).

 

Not sure if this was even tested at all.
I went from being able to solo Infernal 4 5 and 6 without dying, to now dying more in 1 map of Bloodshed , more times than I would in a year previously.
I would not say I was overpowered , although I thought my character was decent.
Now I just see it as shit and I can not be bothered playing the game.
I log in to play with friends but dying so often is frustrating and boring.
This CE reminds me of what they have done previously with PVP, take something fun and turn it into a boring grind. The only players that enjoyed the new version of the PVP were the moonwalkers or whatever it is.
The CM has his little pets on Discord that are saying this is great anything negative said on there and you are removed from his channel.
I actually don't see the defenders of the CE posting on the forums anymore , is that because you were the first to leave when you seen how crap it was and was not humble enough to eat your words.
And as my character sits now I have 200k+ damage 180k+ Crit good attack speed and movement speed and it is still good for **** all even in groups.
So that is 7 or 8 years wasted on a game , where the developers have no good ideas only thing they can think of is nerf the players and try make them spend.
The daily quests are undoable unless you are a Pay to Play Premium or Deluxe player and want to sit and change what you have , yes I have the andermants to change them almost 200k andermant but why waste them for the dismal daily prizes ?
My advice to anyone knew starting this game or looking to start this game is do not bother , you are wasting your time and the people that run the game do not care or listen to there player base.

The best thing to just forget this game. Move with your life foreward.
Only good thing that I got from this game is a few friend. speedy/roshan to mention one of the best people I met in this game from Grimmag.. thats the only reason I thank this game.

Just to mention DSO-Wiki.

On my side:
Eversince I got up to LVL 70 something.. I cant get myself to play this game anymore.

 

It's not just the CM, the management is as guilty of this trainwreck as are the developers.

 

Any such topic would be deleted entirely as soon as a moderator found it. They don't want to acknowledge such disgruntlement.

You can't even make good/bad comparisons to other games.... which makes no sense whatsoever seeing how everyone keeps going "they are incorrectly and badly trying to duplicate xyz from this other zyx game and it seems to never come out right".
