Hello fellow Drakensang players:

Let me provide some background about my guild. We are a selective outfit. We have standards for who we recruit; i.e., we will not just take anyone (at least not without an initial skills assessment). You do not have to be a pay-to-win player to be in DOC, but you must:

• Be capable of basic English communication without an online translator
• Get along well with others; no "loners" or "glory hounds"
• Have good basic group tactics and skill usage in PvE
• Be moderately-to-well skilled and titled in PvP
• Be willing to improve your equipment and tactics, as needed, over time
• Be willing to help other guild members improve their characters, as needed
• Be at, or close to, "end-game" level and equipment on your character
• Be an active and enthusiastic player on the Agathon server
• Be a good representative of DOC when interacting with non-DOC players
• Be respectful of other DOC members and officers

Potential recruits should contact our Guild Master, Harra, or any of the officers listed below for membership consideration. Please be patient while waiting to receive a response. Although it may not be necessary in every case, expect the possibility of grouping with some of us (usually a PvP match or two) in order for us to evaluate your skill level before deciding your eligibility.

To all:

We currently have a limited number of openings, so if you have a character on Agathon, are level 44-45 and are end-game (or close) ready - contact one of the officers at the bottom of my first post to inquire about membership. Thank you, and good hunting!

 

In the requirements I think you should add "Ability to communicate adequately in English".

Good cooperation requires good communication.

 

It was there, as the very first requirement, when I originally posted this thread. As you probably know, the officers that were actively recruiting (some time ago) ignored that guild tenet in order to bring in strong players who did not speak English. Upon noticing this, I removed the requirement since it was not being enforced.

Since most of the non-English speakers have now migrated to other guilds, I am going to replace that line in the requirements. I hope it will not be ignored in the future.

Thanks for reminding me of that. It really is an important requirement, especially for PvP play!

I'm sorry, but you will have to be at least level 44 to join DOC. Also, your grammar was a bit difficult to understand. I suspect you may have difficulty communicating easily with our other members in English. However, I thank you for your interest in our guild. Perhaps, when you reach level 44, you should contact an officer for an evaluation.

Just contact one of the officers listed above... at the bottom of the first post in this thread. I won't be in-game again until sometime tomorrow, but Harra may still be there. (I was just running Khalys with him.)

I'm not sure if we have an open spot right now, but someone in-game will know.

p.s. I think Harra may have changed one of the letters in his name to a "symbol", b/c I have to use the guild whisper now. He probably was getting overwhelmed with whispers and invites. Anyway, if you can't find him, try the other officers' names.
