    Hi Spartacusx,

    If you have the money to upgrade it to lvl 40+, yes its reasonable...but you're already a lvl 25, so...any extraordinary item lvl 25+ is much better and cheaper to upgrade.

    The shield is other story, its very good until you reach lvl 40, its very hard to find a better one, only "Vargulf Round Shield" is better than "Alan's Shield" at any lvl.

    Ingame items are very weak, because they only 1 enchantment (only Atlantean set has 2), they only look good...any legendary and some unique's are much better.

    Don't forget, you can always simulate the upgrade or upgrade it and when you find a better one, just melt the old one and upgrade your new an better item.

    I see yea.. I just got the event mace and shield today on the lil to lowest stats. Ill post an update on my DK soon.
