Don't forget to help the others

There are lots of people helping guys with small levels characters. 30+ level doing parallel worlds, helped by players with 45 level. Or level 1 players doing sigrismarr or gorga hard .
They either are doing this deliberately, or actually thinking they are helping the little guys. I tend to believe its the first variant, in most cases. Because the little guys are just scums, looking to farm like mad, and then enter pvp and ruin the game for everyone, in all arenas. In my opinion this is a backdoor, an exploit, although legal.
Because when they enter arena they usually meet honest players who struggle to farm for a magic sword and 100 cot in various dungeons, while they come with weapon of the end of time. Which lets be honest, it wasnt by any mean obtained by them, but by their high level friends.
When I talked to support ( I think the answer came from romania, couse I have to use a translator to understand) They told me (in quite a rude manner): "So you're upset he had done parallel world at level 32? Well why didn't you? The parallel world is opened from level 30." At that time I didnt even know there was a parallel world. But anyway what I understand is that they won't fix this problem, since in their view this is not a problem.
The game is unfair in many aspects, classes (I think everybody here with a level 45 char, knows what class is favoured), pvp, items, costs, both in time and money wise.
So if you really wanna HELP, stop helping one dude, just to ruin the game for everybody else.

I can see why people say this is unfair. Its too easy for players to team with high lvl players and get good items and allot of GOP in the PW. I recently started doing them myself at lvl 45 and have gained well over 200k GOP and found a few unique items and I just got to catacombs/crypt of kings less than a week ago.

Its unfair to allow a lvl 30 to team with 3 lvl 45's and do this. It ruins the overall fun of the game as the PW are very challenging and meant to inspire players to strive to become more skilled rather than just buffing themselves to the point of effortlessly doing them. -_-

I myself however am more than happy to help lower lvl players but only during times where they can't find a good team and are on a very hard quest/boss fight. but not in the PW maps.

 

Also I would like to stress the fact that is not the players fault for trying to find and exploit the glitches( blame the human nature), Its still the developers fault for allowing this to happen. How hard is to put a simple rule like : You can't group with players 5 levels below or above???
But I know they don't care, and I have 0 hopes for them to do something regarding the fairness of the game (since all of this are ancient problems, and when they tried to fix a problem they only did it worse, inclining the balance much worse from one side to the other). Remember the time when all DK's whined and EDIT about how strong the mages are?
Solution: EDIT or leave. For me it will be the latter.

 

I don't mind grouping up with n00bs for PWs, so long as they are lvl 40 or over. If a lvl 30 player wants to get his hands on lvl 45 gear he'll have to look for help elsewhere, but I'll gladly help an honest n00b with PWs.
Grouping for Mortis is different because each player makes an investment (of time, essence and whatnot) and the group is sort of doomed to failure if one member consistently dies or lets souls past. So taking too many weak players in the group means everybody lost their investment completely, no return whatsoever. This is why experienced players will think twice before joining or inviting to Mortis groups.

 

Sooo this is the reason why i can't find group for my 32 lvl ranger to go to q3. Why so selfish?! And it all comes from a 45 lvl players.

U think it's easy for us to go against 45 lvl monsters.. If I want to build my full ammon low lvl ranger,why does this makes people angry. So u build one too!

Yea right,like there is better situation on 45 lvl. Endless farming,and then you realize u have poor stats LOL

Of all things that are good in DSO,this one is my favorite. To have ammon unique items on 30 lvl. All better player who are 45 lvl are not even using that poor ammon gear(bad set bonuses). So why not use it till 45 lvl?!

 

Starfaaker, you are not really the one building 'your' ranger, it's the lvl 45 players who group with you. Btw, you can kill PWs in a group of lvl 30s but it takes some time and effort.
And please explain how it is that I'm selfish for not wanting to farm 'your' loot for you? It appears that you are the selfish one for thinking that others are here only to farm loot for you. Ridiculous.

 

Why do you think that I just stand there and collect loot. I play too,you know? And every time when someone inv me to group,they kick me. I mean,ok,i'm lvl 32,but stronger than some 45 lvl players. And about that i'm not building my ranger,hah so funny. I don't call YOU selfish,i said that selfishness is among all 45 lvl players. It's like "why should i help you,I don't have benefit from that". But how many times I helped lower players who asked for help,i don't recall how many. Calling Me selfish is you opinion,I am not offended,but it sound funny to me.

 

Try joining a guild to help you get what you want, not many 45's will help you with that attitude...
If you still struggling, you can always buy lots and lots of essence

So, I think here we have a reason why are they doing this. Their ego wants to be strong and it's much easier when you build up low lvl bully to kill little innocent players who are actually here to enjoy the game (not to bully others). They can't be strong in 45lvl. It is hard out there. It is a real game. It is a real arena. It's easier to get your mount when you come across baby players.
So, naturally, they try so much to be strong macho men... in a kindergarten.

 

Faeriequeen,as long as i remember and play this game,u are top lvl player.I don't know if u have low lvl toon,but u are saying nonsense. Every 3-4 player on lvl 30 is KOTO,every 10 player on lvl 30 is flag,even marshals are starting to appear around those levels (say thanks to stupid mentor bonus). I mainly play 3vs3,and even PVP is messed up,i almost never play with players under ardent centurion. I'm playing my character almost 11 months,and i would hate to go to 45 lvl,it would be boring to me. Storn macho men,i don't think so,but I can see you are stong macho women EDIT

Agree with the thread starter. I won't help lv 30s seasoned knight of order in parallel worlds simply because they dominate the arenas. They can farm parallel worlds themselves on their levels, otherwise why parallel world is scaled to level.

 

I think you just confirmed what I was trying to say Bullies literally built their little bullying community! Seeing lvl2 ardent legionnaire, lvl 6 koto, lvl 30 marshal... What's wrong with those people? And, I'm not talking here about you, I'm talking generally. I will never understand where is the joy of playing .. lvl2.. with 2 skills where they can 1shoot everyone. Where is the joy of playing lvl30 with stats of a 45lvl player and going like that in arena? Only good thing about the fact that they have built bullying community is that there's a chance they end up killing each other, without harming an innocent baby players (who want to enjoy the game.. and probably are in arena for daily ^^ )
And well, thanks for saying I'm a strong macho woman; it may appear that way to you, but I spend most of my time in arena dead. Because with my lvl and my rank, it's the playground of titans, not babies.
(Also, don't take this personally, I had a chance of playing/talking to you and you're a great guy, I just don't like those.. bullies )

And this is what I can't understand. Since i can't play arena with lvl 45,I get the impression that playing arena on 45 lvl is easier than on lvl 30. Yea right. Same thing happens on lvl 1,lvl 15,lvl 30,lv45. There will always be stronger dominating players killing you,even if u are marshal. Everyone thinks that lvl 30 SKOTO gets easy (read free) kills and honors.
I'm not saying "go help poor 30 lvl guys to finish q5",but trying to put it this way:
I hate those twinks (and who doesn't?),running around in lvl1 duel,leaving you to look how he moves like jagger till you bleed to death. But saying that all under lvl45 (in this case lvl30) is bulling,ruining game expirience to weaker players,feeding your ego. etc etc.. is EDIT thing to say. Everyone have their own style of play,so let it be,don't cry on forum about it and trying to chase the justice. Just play. Over and out from this thread,take care

 

I agree with Starfaaker.
I see no unjustice with parallels lvl 30... because everybody can do them, as you have all shown, by getting help by lvl 45 players. So the true thing is, all will do it and be fine again. Some faster, some slower.
The thing is, i see no difference on lvl 45 - the strong people group, farm mortis in minute's counts, while the weak run arround crying for partys.

The real problem starts when it comes to XP. Hundreds of People are playing main chars on low lvl already, many have as high ranks as the lvl 45 players. The unfairness is that they are (different from lvl 45) not able to farm a decent equipment for their level as they are forced to level up by sometime, thus reaching new items that now have to be farmed again. This makes it next to impossible to build a decent low lvl char without permanent use of XP block. So why do all complain about lvl 45 friends who help? Let us do it on our own, on our lvl, and all will be fine. Just to tell you, it is absolutely no fun to struggle in Q5 with a 45 team, vs 45 mobs, where your low char has 0 Chance of doing anything... it is a nerve- and timeconsuming quest on all lvls.
As for the people who think that we bully around on low lvl: I created this char as a F2P to show all low lvl paygamers (= people who pay 100,- to get some gems and **** up the beginners in this game) where their hell is. Farmers will have my respect and help at all times. Same in Pvp. Its only fun to win vs exactly these bullies you're describing. After several days, they all go level up and get their share when they reach 45.

As for me, when i started, i never thought of catching up with the highend lvl 40 players without use of any money. For me, the fun is to be the lowest guy on server to finish Q5 or to beat a lvl 45 noob... The thing is, against real old lvl 45 paygamers, a farmer can have no chance.
