double hand staff with +84 % weapon damage

    Hi,

    I crafted a legendary stall lvl 25 with:

    +8 damage
    +9 damage

    +43 % weapon damage
    +31% weapon damage

    It has 4 slots and 4 gems +10 damage each

    The +% weap dmg multiplies the value of gems from +40 to +72

    I like it and raised its lvl to 30 ( I am now lvl 31) and upgrading the lvl
    Will cost me 140k melting points. My questions:

    Should I keep it and raise its lvl or will I get a more powerful staff in the future ?

    keep it until you find better, as your levels rise you will find better..

    You mean I should farm for lvl 35+ staff and craft legendary then ?

    There is no point in getting legendary gear at low levels because you will trash it all once you hit lvl 45. Also, try focusing on one-handed weapons because you can switch between book and ball on the offhand, depending on incoming damage. Two-handed weapons do not offer that kind of flexibility, they make you extra squishy permanently.

    Because level 45 gear can be a lot better than lower level gear. (some level 6 items upgraded to 45 are really good)

    Uff... well, you can look at some of the threads here where people show their best gear. Search Good Legend Shields thread in the forums for some examples. I may post my shield or level 40 items (I haven't identified many good level 45 items)

    most level 45's are no good, can get much better 43 items....

    There shouldn't be a reason for that. It's probably just a rumor or common misconception.

    most 45 legends i have opened have been lower on everything than my old 43 ex's... very dissapointing and a waste of cots...

    There are a lot of good unique weapons that can also be worth waiting for like a Sargon Book of Shadows and pairing with other legendary wands as I use. The events are a great place now to get a great new weapon that is unique and well worth it.The stats change on every legendary "ID". So save the cots as much as possible to get and use the best gear.
