Hello everybody, I am fresh level 55, and I would like to ask you, If anybody is using Dragan's Incensed Staff instead of Blood Rune Staff.

From what I've seen on wikia, Dragan's staff deals more damage, but is missing speed enchantment of Blood Rune staff.

I am able to craft Dragan's Staff now and drop Blood Rune next event (maybe).

    Any experienced advice? :D

If you don't have Bearach or Herald staff, then the first is good to help get the second, or the previous two mentioned.

Anyway it goes, the Incensed Staff is craftable and the other 3 rely on the luck of a drop. Take from that what you will.
(This said from someone who finally got a good T2 Herald staff {dam: 99%} from DtU (2 events ago) and never got one at all from PW.)
    Alpaca and Johanides like this.

What more damage dude? Where in the earth have you seen a dragan's staff with a unique value such as the one on the blood rune?
    Alpaca and gbit like this.

You of all people know very well that the bloodrune staff description is wrong as it should state 100% weapon damage which acts as a multiplier not as an additional modifier.
and you do not even mention it to this player?
    miwel is right.
    Bloodrune weapon has insane damage
but to point to you how much more damage bloodrrune weapon has I will elaborate.
Your dragan staff has what a melee player would call sword level damage which means a lower base but higher base attack speed.
Now the bloodrune weapon has the same base damage as a 1 handed weapon and the base attack speed of a 2 handed sword however the unique enchantment has an insane damage multiplier which also scales with damage % essences to an extreme level.
your average damage in comparison to for example the weapon from bearach you should have an average of 2-3k more damage at base but also much higher attack speed
but rough estimate in damage terms if you were end game you would probably reach more or less 90k damage and 3.7 attack speed with bloodrune while with dragan weapon crafted plat lines and t10 your average damage would reach maybe 65k max?
thats a huge difference in damage output.

Bloodrune weap has insane dmg...overtime any other Q7 class deals thrice the burst and 2 of them double the channeling dmg...
And regarding BM enchantement phy it was intended this way when it´s been created it is just wrong description as in case of MC and ton of other skills for instance the uncancelable midget oil which apparently isnt Control Impairing Effect even tho it looks like it is

Afaik Dragon Hide of DK with the 5p. talent doesn't prevent it, and it should prevent all negative effects except for DoT. It prevents ranger's marking effect, which only doubles the damage taken from most ranger's skills... but not this. So bad example, this is a simple bug.

Ranger mark also slows but i agree that the whole thing is shady af and it should allow marking w/o the slow effect and should completely cancel oil 5p talent

Actually, no. For example, the 5p. talent of Dive deals the marking effect but without any slowdown. Same goes for DS with 3p. talent or BD with 3p. talent. And even for example the green arrow which both slows and marks deals two separate effects, one for mark and one for slow.

Oh ye i forgot that HA is two separate effects...you are right
