Dragans Vanguard [Discussion]

I found some group that were already killing Black Knight ... I joined fight ... he killed 6 people with one hit ... including me ... but I don't know how they found that knight.... I was waiting 30 min. at same spot ... and nothing.

 

I found a knight in misty this morning but as soon as I started fighting another group came and took credit. People are saying they don't respawn so you have to keep looking somewhere else. I have to work so I cant stay to find out.

He's a lot slower than Dragan in Shadow Fort but he summons dragon whelps that stun.

 

You have to be able to call him. You need a horn for that, that you should get from the chest it seems. And that key you get from the knights..

 

anyone knows where the key to summon knights is ?

 

Here is the post I wrote in the Test server section that outlines how much of a pain in the butt they are.

If I had to guess, you need a new instance of a map to find these guys. Personally, I would find a guild group and go to a bunch of different locations and try and find one. Then if someone does, everyone converges to that one map and (In the spirit of the Winter Olympics) let the games begin. I just hope I can find a group that will let me tag along because a DK can not tank them making us next to useless on killing these stupid guys. Maybe a SW with enough damage can hold the agro so I can get some hits in, but that is about it.

We were killing him 20 minutes and suddenly some other group came and took the credit.

 

this is unfair yes. but can you please explain where you meet the boss ? same location where is banner ?

 

Once in Heart of Atlantis and once in Burning Coast. He is where the banner is.
Both times I get nothing. Just wasted essences and andermants for respawn.
I can say that 250 drakens and that dragon are not worth of any effort.

 

Well I've been killing for an hour and can't find a knight.

I heard a group used red essn and had to respawn and only got green items and cot from the chest. Oh dear, sounds awful, not even worth it.
Anyone else got anything good?

 

i think you get the wrong idea..it didnt say that if you DONT accept you WILL find the dark knights.
"You can encounter Black Knights also if you did not accept Tonioscha’s quest – but it is not recommened."
it says ALSO..meaning whether you take the quest or not you will see the dark knight if you are lucky enough to find one..^^

 

Well, what was you killing for 1 hour if you can't find knights?

 

you dont need to kill different kind of mobs..
it didnt say that you need to kill something and dark knight will pop out..it says that you need to find it..

 

I'm looking for them. I'm confused, like many others ingame lol I'm going around maps looking for them, got to kill what's in my way that's what you do in this game, kill stuff....
My actual point is that I'm running around different maps and have yet to encounter a knight.

 

the anti kill steal doesnt work .... this is just stupid

I agree Serenthia. That's what I was getting to above. There is a lot of running around blindly, and my group has yet to find a knight despite that we have visited various maps. Plus we're unsure if we are even looking in the right maps! We're doing our best to work it out... I'm sure we will once it's almost over

 

Thanks DSO for giving us an "event" with absolute no info from your side on how and where and why and BLAH BLAH BLAH.
Whatever happened to "official announcements" ? Whatever happened to event instructions? Whatever happened to "communication" from DSO to the player base????

what ever happened to understanding the word MYSTERY? usually means that not everything is told and given to you right at start.. u know.. finding out oneself etc...

 

We where killing the knight when he was almost dead a ranger snatched him alone.
Steal killing it was at least 20 players there and all died fast.

When knight is dead you get a key to open the chest. In the chest you find items for quest or to summon Dragan. Boring event all waited at same spot and for what a ugly dragon with a bumpy ride.

 

This isn't even event. No info in game neither.
I think they are just using us as a crash test dummies for testing anti kill steal system ... which btw is not working.
