    It should never be the case. It should never be that one class is harder to build than the others (read: harder to play when levelling/when fresh at cap than the others) but is way stronger than the others on the high end. It is not called balance.

    As it is now, I don't see a problem in any class when stripped of sets save the base damage/crit on items that should be slightly higher for SW, RA and SM than for DK (and higher for SW than for the other two).
    However... when it comes to sets it's a mess.

    There are no improvements to your character ... neither there are improvements on my character eve if we are not playing a same class.
    It is not player's fault but it is the devs who are doing it on purpose.

    Sure, indeed dso is still working after so many years.
    What they did to dwarf was planned well.
    They knew SMs players wouldn't have liked to switch to dmg/crit from dmg/speed, so they give them more dps output and now BP is slowly taking it away.

    As @heror said, there are a lot of players that pref to tank even if it the most boring thing.
    Sometimes people keep tank build for events played mod normal too, where even 8k dmg are enough...
