Drakensang Highscores

    Hi,
    I think there should be more competition in Drakensang than just PvP. Players farm glyphs, legendary items, unique items, gemstones(only farmed gems), mobs/bosses (especially in paralell worlds), CoT and so on. And I think new highscores should be implemented on the DSO Homepage. In addition, I think the pvp highscores should have their own section, next to the rest of the highscores.

    There should be an Overall Highscore Ranking witch will somehow combine all the bosskills, CoT, Glyphs, Honor points, Unique drops etc. giving a final overall ranking.

    I think that seeing other players progress and competing with them will revolusionize the game. Players will be more motivated to play more and get a higher ranking or compete with friends.

    PS: I realize that it is very hard/or impossible to track every players individual drop from the ground or every bosskill they have done since the game started, but I think the players would be just fine if you put in at least Glyphs and Honor points that the players have earned in the beginning, and have the CoT, Unique drops and other things reset to 0 (on the highscores) when/if you decide to make this happen.

    I wouldn't mind it if it showed boss kills vs boss attempts. It would help me screen pick up groups before attempting to do something like a Mortis run. I mean I'm not going to run with some player with a 1/50 win ratio and this could help me find who is worth grouping with.

    I would be cool for PvE players to have some bragging rights. The downside to this is that it would cause more elitism when forming groups.

    I am the type that will gladly let a weak player join my groups as long as they are upfront about about their limitations, listen to advice and play smart (i.e. don't kamikaze and expect me to continually use spirit stones to revive them.)

    I have toons that are strong enough to carry a little dead weight. To me this helps these weaker player develop their toons and participate in events (During the Winter event I allowed players to stay in group even after they told me they were out of snow ess.)

    This helps these basically good gamers enjoy the game and eventually wind up with strong toons themselves. The result is a better overall community on my server.

    TLDR, I don't think we need a tool that would encourage exclusion of potentially valuable players.
