    Hello All,

    New player but really enjoying the game and lore, however, I'm not sure if I will be able to continue to play as the game keeps crashing with the message "dro_client.exe has stopped working"

    Anyone know any fixes please let me know as I was planning on playing, and spending money on the game, for some time.

    Wishes

    Hello there. It may have something to do fmodstudio- the sound system for the game.Read posts 234 and 237 in MAC Client Technical Support. Many of my friends are reporting same problems- it would seem that during events such as Dragan event the issue is even worse.

    Hello there @LucidNight ,

    Check this thread HERE. Let's see if it helps...

    Normally if any crash related to fmodstudio happens, it will appear a message with "FMOD" things.

    Keep us updated ;)

    Thanks Sunlight. I tried this and the game lasted for about an hour then crashed. I did it again, played a bit, went out, came back to play for about 5 minutes and crash. At this point I think I'll just have to pass on the game which is a shame because I'm really enjoying the storylines and artistic vision of the game.

    Hey there @LucidNight ,

    Have you got any error message?
    Which server are you playing in?

    Let us know when it started. Team is aware of these crashes, but I need more details from your case in particular ;)
    Thanks.

    This is a windows OS msg if I am not mistaken. In the bottom of the box does it say, "Windows is checking for a solution?" If so then you have a system conflict.

    Try reinstalling client (if playing via client) or java (if playing via browser.) These would be a likely cause. Also old drivers can cause this as well as other apps running in the background.

    Luck be with ye,
    Mikey,

    Playing on the US East Coast server and yes MikeyMetro is correct it's a windows OS msg. I will say that I got back in and have yet to have a crash so will keep this thread posted if it occurs again. It's good to know the devs were aware of it.

    Hey there @LucidNight ,

    Sorry for the late answer :p

    If it occurs again, please, provide us:
    • Server;
    • Date and hour (CET UTC+1);
    • Map;
    • Any important detail for you related to that.

    This should be enough to them.
    Cheers,
