Feedback DSO, Stable Server and the rubber banding phenomenon – Feedback needed!

    Dear heroes of Dracania,

    Our development team has applied some changes to the current Stable version aimed to correct some of the rubber banding problems that some you reported as recurrent. We know that suffering from rubber banding is rather annoying as a gaming experience and we would like to collect your feedback.

    If you were suffering this problem, have you noticed any improvements? Do you experience them less often than before?

    If you have not noticed anything different, let us know as well.

    I have not noticed a difference. I am predominantly in PVP for roughly two to three hours per day. In general no rubber banding or latency in matches 99% of the time.

    The matches all seem fine but with an occasionally 'anomaly' player once or twice per day that seems to send the entire thing into a rubber band. I just chalk that up to either a big difference in latency among the players. For example, Dora-The-Explorer on dial up from Cost Rica versus me out here nearer Silicon Valley with bigger pipes.

    I experience this on live servers. Occasional, but still a nuisance. I would say about 1% of the time. At certain times it is higher.

    For two days, Time required to change one map from another room has increase by 3 folds does that counts?
     
  5. Stablebuild = Test Server. Which is why this is in the Test Server section of the forum. The changes have not yet been applied to the Live Servers. So commenting that you have not noticed a difference on the Live Servers is rather beside the point...

    It is a little better but still does it when a lot of people are online.

    I just want to say that I noticed there is this fade-ish black shadow that goes around the outline of my screen. It makes everything look darker and it's sort of harder to see.
