im trying to figure out how to use the crafting table. It says four items of identical rarity (whatever that might mean), but apparently not four identical objects. In short words, what does "identical rarity" mean?

 

That means you can put there four green, four blue or four purple items. and of course quest items if it is required by quest.

Mal, i tried that too, four identical and green items. I was told quite snottily that "you can't expect to use those!" end of discussion. Ill try again, and thanks for that guide, its very useful.

 

Also, the guide does not say that you have to place all the items on the workbench from your inventory, so if you want to use an equipped item put it in inventory first and then on the workbench.

 

All items must be in your inventory and thus you cannot craft something you are using......they must be all of one colour.....really simple -.-

 

its simple once you know what the criteria is, yes. =) but there are no clues in the game as to what goes with what. appreciate the explanations, and thank you
