email bonus announcements

    this is the second time I have received a 'bonus" letter that reads, "Your bonus for feats of courage" and im thinking, o boy o boy a bonus. both times when I click on the link I am informed that this link has been already used, sorrrryyyy.

    Im not sure where the error is, but since I have never actually received the bonus, I have to assume it's thee and not me. Needless to say this is disappointing, sort of like getting a beautifully wrapped birthday present which turns out to be an empty box. It's obviously not for a new player since it says "return to redouble your efforts..." and who, after all, wouldnt lust after all that andermant...:(

    I think that email is bugged. A friend of mine had similar issue and I don't know if he was able to solve it through support.

    Last year the same thing happened to me. I spent hours with support, emails, etc., over several months. Finally Big Point sent the moderators and support and "announcement." The message was sent in error; if the person had an account on a server that wasn't used for a certain period of time; BP sent a form email out. If the person actually logged in on another server, it was automatically rejected, but only when they logged in.
    I pointed out that under USA law, that was false advertising, and a violation under the open contract laws, but it didn't help. Brokensang will be Brokensang.

    I have had about 3 such mails over time. First time, it didnt seem to work, but after relogging a few times, I eventually got the bonus. The other 2 mails where corrupt though.

    That email with bonus andermant(idk if it's the same one i got few times, it gives something like 1200 anders,purple ess,cot's etc...) works only if you click on it and then change your server, chose another server where you don't have any characters and you will get that bonus. I tried a few times to see how to get it working and it seems that's the only way.. Btw, you will get same email few times, if error apears after clicking on it, that means that you aready used it, but in a "wrong" way. And you will get the same email for same account more than a few times. And yes i to think it's bugged..
