Currently level 8 ranger and having trouble looking for guild. There's none appearing the guild section. I don't know if I can join a guild yet.

Nothing appears in the guild section until you join a Guild. Once you do, it will show the other players in your guild, just like the friends list does and all the other tabs in that window.

At the moment, there is no way to search guilds in game, and this section of the forums if for looking for one, so you came to the right place. My advice to you right now is to just keep doing the quests and level up some more before you begin worrying about a guild. There are very few benefits to guilds in this game at the moment. mostly, it is a group of like minded, similarly skilled, and sometimes same language people who like to chat. Some use VOIP systems like Mumble, TeamSpeak, RaidCall or others to communicate outside of the simple guild chat window.

Once you level up some more, check out this guild. They accept people of any level, but in general, it helps if you are slightly higher so that you will have people your own level to play with. I'd recomend you hit level 35-40 and then contact one of the officers in DI2 (Listed in the second post on the link I gave you.)

    Good luck and happy gaming.

Thank you still very new to the game and probably would be here more if i wasn't playing alliance warfare. I like the game every much but trying to avoid coning at least.
So there are little benefits of guilds besides chatting?

As I said before, it is a way to have easier communication with people who share something in common with you (Or I hope they have something in common or I don't know why you would join them.) For me, this is an English speaking guild that uses TeamSpeak to communicate via voice chat. This makes it very easy to find groups for the harder dungons, for events, for PvP, and for boss runs. It helps that most of the people in the guild are at or near end game level meaning that we are all working on the same things. BP has apparently promised that they are working on features to improve guilds so, in the future, there might be more to being in a guild than simply communicating easier. We will have to wait and see.
