    STORYLINE

    Hundreds of years ago, Duria’s capital, Kingshill, was ruled by a mad emperor known as Beregar the First. The heir of legendary King Heredur, Beregar, always strived to be the most important monarch in Dracania’s history. Beregar was born with the confidence to boldly endeavor the impossible… and no failure… no embarrassment would ever stop him. In his old age, the emperor decided to build a crypt for himself and his kin that would outshine even Heredur’s final resting place. A grave so splendid, it would consist of thousands upon thousands of floors, leading down all the way to the center of the world… Nobody knows if Beregar ever started, much less finished, this final project. But recently, a painting of this legendary “Ancestral Ruin” appeared in the church in Kingshill. Shortly thereafter, a rumor spread throughout the city. Some believe that the emperor’s grave can be entered through this very canvas. But so far, nobody who went inside has come back alive… Father Fidelis issued a clear warning to be careful with that painting. You need to talk with Father Fidelis to understand more. You will find some narrative texts in the event entrance in Kingshill, the entrance map to the Ancestral Ruins, and on floors 1-10 of the Ancestral Ruins. When combined, they will form an intriguing story.


    Event Summary

    • Required Level: 30-100 (you must be at least level 30 to enter the 1st floor).
    • You need a Challenge Pass to enter each event floor map.
    • The initial guide quests “Ancestral Ruins” and “Descent into the Ancestral Ruins-Start” will give you a total of 3x Challenge Passes.
    • You can purchase Challenge Passes from NPCs or directly from the shop.
    • The progress bar rewards also include many Challenge Passes.
    • Each map, including the hub, is a solo one.
    • Collect the Trial points from floor bosses to fill up the progress bars.
    • Collect the Victory Medals from floor bosses and exchange them for exclusive rewards

    How to Start

    Head to the church in Kingshill and talk with Father Fidelis to hear about the accursed painting, which somehow became a gateway.

    You can enter the first event map using the portal in Kingshill or by clicking on the ‘Start’ button in the event window.

    The first map is an urban area where you will meet a peculiar ghost.

    Talk with Beregar the First, a self-titled God emperor of Duria, to learn why his soul is bound to the ruins ahead of you. The former king will kindly award you with 3x Challenge Passes to explore the first two floors.


    Progress Bars

    NOTE: Only players who reach level 100 can activate the progress bar. Players below level 100 will earn double XP in the event map to quickly level up and activate the progress bar.
    • Clearing Floor 1 grants 1x Trial Point, Floor 2 grants 2x Trial Points, and so on, up to Floor 10, which grants 10x Trial Points.
    • To earn all progress bar rewards, you must collect 200 Trial Points.

    Event Currency - Victory Medals

    • Defeating bosses in the event map floors earns you Victory Medals.
    • The higher the floors you enter, the higher the amount of Victory Medals you earn.
    • The bosses drop a guaranteed amount of Victory Medals with a chance to drop an additional 1 to 5 smaller stacks, mentioned in the table below:

    Rare Drops: Blue Dragon Package and Elixir of Eternal Life

    Starting from floor 6th, bosses have a chance to drop a Blue Dragon Package and an Elixir of Eternal Life. The boss on floor 10th is guaranteed to drop both.

    By opening the Blue Dragon Package, you have the chance to receive one of the following:
    • 1x Blue Dragon Mount,
    • 1x Challenge Pass,
    • 999x Essence of Vigor (Legendary),
    • 10x Draken.

    Jewel of Glacial Fang

    Magic Rarity: Each critical hit has a chance of 1% to spawn a Fenris Wolf fighting beside you for 10 seconds, at the expense of your resistance values being reduced by 7%.

    Extraordinary Rarity: Chance increased to 3%

    Legendary Rarity: Chance increased to 5%


    Enhancing the Forgotten Glory Set

    During this event, you will have the chance to enhance your Forgotten Glory set:
    • To craft the Ancestral Glory Ring, you will need:
      • Glory Ring,
      • Old Glory,
      • 100x Dragon Bones,
      • 100x Arcane Dragon Essence.
    • To craft the Ancestral Glory Cloak, you will need:
      • Old Glory,
      • Glory Ring,
      • 100x Dragon Bones,
      • 100x Arcane Dragon Essence.
    The Arcane Dragon Essence drops from all bosses in the Ancestral Ruins – on the 1st Floor, you will drop only 1x Arcane Dragon Essence, on the 2 nd Floor, you will drop 1x or 2x Arcane Dragon Essence, and so on, up to Floor 10th , where you will drop from 1 to 10 Arcane Dragon Essence (with the higher number being more likely).

    Before enhancing the set, you must add the recipes to the workbench. Ancestral Glory Blueprint (Ring) and Ancestral Glory Blueprint (Cloak) have a chance to drop from the bosses in Ancestral Ruins, starting with the 1 st Floor.

    The Ancestral Glory Ring's unique values are doubled (compared to the Glory Ring), and the Ancestral Glory Cloak has an additional 5000 damage in the unique values (compared to the Old Glory). The value from the cloak is added directly to the absolute modifier (this is NOT damage on this item, so the item's enchantments do not increase this value).


    Ancestral Ruins - Floor by Floor

    To enter the Ancestral Ruins floors, you simply need to locate the unlocked floors you have inside the main Ancestral Ruins map. In the beginning, you will have the 1st floor unlocked, but as you progress through the event and defeat the bosses of each dungeon, more floors will start unlocking for you.

    Each floor is designed differently and requires you to perform a series of actions, from killing enemies to activating special Fire Platforms of Trial and other map mechanics. To progress to the next floor, you must defeat the Boss at the end, granting you access to the next Ancestral Ruin floor entrance. The higher the floor, the higher the difficulty. Monsters and bosses' strength and resistance increase as you level up, making it more difficult to accomplish your task. Be aware: traps and mysterious magical powers might try to make your journey difficult in this God-forsaken place!


    Floor 1 - Excruciating Difficulty

    Tasks:
    • Defeat the monsters inside the map. It will unblock the traps and allow you to find your way to the elite monsters' location.
    • Click on the Fire platform of Trials. They will either spawn more enemies or unlock traps to allow you to further.
    • Defeat the elite monsters on the floor. They are the requirement for the Boss to spawn.
    • Defeat the Final Boss.

    Floor 2 - Fatal Difficulty

    Tasks:
    • Defeat the monsters inside the map. It will unblock the traps and allow you to find your way to the elite monsters’ location.
    • Defeat the elite monsters on the floor. They are the requirement for the Boss to spawn.
    • Defeat the Final Boss.

    Floor 3 - Infernal Difficulty

    Tasks:
    • Defeat the monsters inside the map. (Optional)
    • Click on the Fire platform of Trials. It will deactivate some traps to make your path easier. (Optional)
    • Defeat the elite monsters on the map. They are the requirement for the Boss to spawn.
    • Defeat the Final Boss.

    Floor 4 - Parallel World Infernal Difficulty

    Tasks:
    • Defeat the monsters inside the map. It will deactivate the spikes that are blocking your way.
    • lick on the Fire platform of Trials. It will deactivate some traps to make your path easier. (Optional)
    • efeat the elite monsters on the map. They are the requirement for the Staffs of Plague to spawn, and they will deactivate the spikes that are blocking your way.
    • Find and click the correct Staff to summon the Final Boss.
    • Defeat the Final Boss.

    Floor 5 - Merciless Difficulty

    Tasks:
    • Defeat the monsters inside the map. It will deactivate the spikes that are blocking your way.
    • Defeat the elite monsters on the map, making your path to the Staffs of Plagues easier. (Optional)
    • Find and click the correct Staff to summon the Final Boss.
    • Defeat the Final Boss.

    Floor 6 - Parallel World Merciless Difficulty

    Tasks:
    • Click on the Fire Platform of Trial to deactivate the spikes blocking your way.
    • Defeat the monsters inside the map and click on the Fire Platforms of Trial. It will remove the Burn and Cease Fire debuff and make your path to the Boss easier. (Optional).
    • Defeat the correct elite monster on the map. (Required, because it will remove the Cease fire debuff on the last platform and allow you to kill the Final Boss).
    • Defeat the Final Boss.

    Floor 7 - Bloodshed Difficulty

    Tasks:
    • Defeat the monsters inside the map. (Optional).
    • Click on the Fire Platforms of Trial. It will deactivate the spikes blocking your path to one of the Staff of Plagues.
    • Defeat the elite monsters on the map. (Optional).
    • Click on the Fire Platforms of Trial and defeat the spawned monsters. It will remove the Burn debuff on the Boss platform. (Optional).
    • Find and click the correct Staff to summon the Final Boss.
    • Defeat the Final Boss.
    NOTE: The boss is immune to stun, armor, and elemental resistance breaks.


    Floor 8 - Parallel World Bloodshed Difficulty

    Tasks:
    • Defeat the monsters inside the map. (Optional)
    • Defeat the elite monsters on the map. (Optional)
    • Find and click the correct Staff to summon the Final Boss.
    • Defeat the Final Boss.
    NOTE: The traps and Burn effect cannot be deactivated on this floor.


    Floor 9 - Parallel World Bloodshed Difficulty

    Tasks:
    • Defeat the monsters inside the map. (Optional).
    • Defeat the elite monsters on the map. (Optional).
    • Click on the Fire Platforms of Trial. (Optional).
    • Find and click the correct Staff, which will remove the Cease Fire debuff in the boss area (Required).
    • Defeat the Final Boss.
    NOTE: The Final Boss has tremendous block, higher than standard armor, and elemental resistance values. Make sure to fully break the armor or resistance to deal with normal damage.


    Floor 10 - Parallel World Bloodshed Difficulty

    Tasks:
    • Defeat the monsters inside the map. (Optional)
    • Defeat the elite monster on the map, it will unblock your path from spike traps.
    • Click on the Fire Platforms of Trial. (Required, as one will remove the Cease Fire debuff in the boss area, second will remove the Burn debuff (Optional))
    • Find and click the correct Staff to summon the Boss.
    • Defeat the Final Boss.
