Extraordinary Cloak Glyphing

I recently reached lvl 40, I looked for a post like this but could not find one.

Can someone tell me how many glyphs it takes level a 40 cloak to 45+ (mainly looking at the purple ones)?

This is just to work out if it is worth getting one now or waiting till 45.

 

You can easily check for yourself ... click the "upgrade button" (the square with displayed item level) and click on "+" until level 45.

 

I don't own it yet so I am unable to do that.

Just looking an answer or a screenshot of the upgrade from 40.

Thank you very much for your contribution. If you go on your link, it shows the level 40 stats and that it can be upgraded but not the glyph amount, that is what question referred to. Trying to find out the value of glyphs needed to get it to 45 from 40.

 

Some pages have the upgrade costs, some don't. The cloak of enlightenment (the 100 gold quest cloak) appears to cost about 5.7 million glyphs to upgrade to 50, so probably 750,000 to 1 million glyphs to take to 45. The cloak of power (1000gold quest) looks like it is almost 28 million glyphs to 50, so maybe 4 or 5 million to 45?.

I only have the warlord, gloom, holiday bag and enlightenment cloaks among all my characters.

 

Thanks for some figures. I don't need the extra stats, I might wait then till I am a bit higher level since they are bringing the xp cap down. Seems silly that they make you pay for the cloak at the level, then ask you glyph it as well. It should be an item that auto levels and makes capes available at a lower level.

 

Well, I don't think most of the for purchase cloaks are worth it, especially those that have just hp, armor and/or damage. The Cloak of enlightenment is easy enough to get, and the upcoming defeat the undefeatables event has a 200+ hp cloak available if you can grind through the event. Warlord cape takes a while, but the intermediate black night cape is usable if you want those bonuses.

I am under the influence that you tend to think the capes are what ever level you are. Sorry to say no matter when you get it (aside from the Warlord cape) the cape will be level 40.

 

cloak of power (1000gp one) takes 916422 to glyph to lvl45. the glyphs go up massively for each level after that though

 

Oh, I think I realised that now. So i might as well start questing for it. Thanks for helping me out with this.
