Movies don't load now for me either.
No loss. I watched a bunch some time ago, and got 0 andermant for it. I'd try it again, if it was enabled, but I don't expect much.

Found out later that movies only play on the web browser, not the thin client.

I use gem holders as well. I only play occationally but have noticed that pvp is almost impossible with f2p unless you do a pvp only character. even then its frustrating dieing to 1 shot.

Hm... just checking out all your dishonorable kills.. all accidents...?
But congrats all the same :)

I actually take pride in my dishonorable kills, the vast majority were made on griefers. Those guys who park their high-level characters with pvp on in low-level areas and wait for n00bs with pvp on to kill in one shot. I don't really care for those guys or for getting a dishonorable kills for putting them down. Still doing that, don't plan to stop.
Can't say where Dylannn's came from, but he has a lot 8)

At what level did you start doing pvp and what was your mage's rank at experience level 40 and what was his rank when you reached level 45? (It would probably be more sensible to speak about fame levels but I guess it's hard to remember those)
Because I'm also F2P and I have a lvl45 ranger with whom I only started doing (mainly) 3v3 matches with at around lvl41, and he really struggled in the arena most of the time because of the unfair pairing system and I took him up to the rank of Ardent Legionnaire. I hardly ever go to the arena anymore with him and I wouldn't even consider open pvp mode.
Then I have two other characters, a lvl36 dwarf and a lvl41 DK, who are both close to being Novice Knights with which I also mainly do 3v3.
Now, my dwarf is still having a ball in the arena, it's really fun, especially when you have those long, drawn-out battles against evenly-matched opponents where skill and tactics are decisive and not just brawn and cash. And it was mostly the same for my DK... until he reached xp lvl40! All of a sudden he's thrown into the arena together with lvl45's, from Ardent Centurions to Marshals and even Field Marshals more often than not and the taste is becoming sour and I'll be lucky to get one opportunistic kill, because all I can basically hope to do is to support my teammates with a few stuns before getting killed in 1 or 2 hits. Now I'm just biting the bullet and pushing on and hoping it'll get better when I get to lvl45 (I think I should be about Seasoned Knight by then).

I did not twink, if that's what you mean. Started pvp when i got to Kingshill, reached lvl 40 with legionnaire or centurion rank. As for your DK, an underpowered DK is the saddest thing in arena; it cannot approach without getting killed and it cannot apply damage without approaching. The only thing to do is to avoid pvp until you find a good shield and gear up because you're stuck in the topmost bracket (40-45) where all the 'big boys' play. Most have sifted through hundreds or thousands of legendaries and kept the best, so gear discrepancy is pretty huge. I hope you have luck with finding some sweet gear 8)

Yeah, if you are an underpowered level 40+ dk who wants to do pvp, the 2 biggest priorities are getting to level 45 and getting a shield. I recommend trying to get the vargulf shield in the full moon event because it is more likely to drop than a legendary 2-2 or 3-1 (or even 2-1) shield.

Not bad for "F2P", but all those melts to level that crystal....hmmmm

And? I have 2.1 M invested in a LVL 8 that I brought up to 40. F2P doesn't mean that you done have lots of melt; it just means that you have to work harder for it.

Not saying he/shes lying, just it DOES take alot of melts to level something like that. I am f2p myself and I have loads of melts invested.
