Fairy wood

According to the event guide fairy wood is supposed to drop fro the mobs.
"You need to collect fairy wood, which only happens to grow in Blackborg. Defeat the enchanted Root Creatures to receive fairy wood."
So far I've only gotten 2 fairy woods from a box... Anyone else had this problem? Would like this fixed or this whole event is a waste of my time

There is no bug or problem with the event, sorry!!!

Just in case you're new to the game...you need to farm for "fairy wood" during daytime (meaning, the event is not active), nighttime (means, the event is active).

There is a daytime and nighttime for "Blackborg"...
...during daytime - you can farm for "Fairy Wood" from the "Root Creatures" only...
...during nighttime - you use the "Fairy Wood" to obtain "Fairy Fire" to progress in the event...

 

Ahh shoot... yes i am new to the game, and had i known the game was built purely to make us spend as much money as possible I'd have never started playing it... seems most of the in-game stuff that is going on is basically only there to make us want to spend more money... anyway, thanks for the information

 

You can start farming Varlholm for silver and do the full moon event in a few weeks.

 

The game revolves around endless farming. You need to farm Blackborg day constantly to get enough wood to finish event. And at the same time farm Varholm to get enough silver scrolls to finish that event. Then at the same time you need to farm for your toon for whatever quests you happen to be doing and trying to amass great quantities of gold for the 6 to 8 month long 1k cloak quest should you decide to take that one on at lvl 40+.
Yeah, it's farmville here, welcome to the grind.

 

Lol made the 1k cloak on under 1 week back in the lvl 40 days, but overall I agree is grinding till the end.

 

Farm on people! (or spend, that is another option)
