    The latest Event Announcement says Monster Hunt event is taking place tomorrow.
    Are you sure that is Monster Hunt event? Because those events were failure and haven't been running for ages. On top of it those are usually short events usually a day or two long. The whole concept of those events are to be short so it would make sense to buy those buffs.
    Is there a possibility that is a wrong event displayed there and perhaps that is a Big Game Hunt event? Because it makes more sense since the event is supposed to be running for 10 days.


    So the game event window says Monster Hunt


    Lets grab popcorn and wait for the kind of "wizardry" we are going to see.
    If the wizardry level is on a par with the level of wizardry with the current Toilets Event ... then we don't have to login even for dailies anymore :)

    Oh cool they are doing Monster Hunt after all this time. Oh wait maybe not Monster Hunt. Maybe Big Game hunt.

    Gee if only bigpoint had some kind of official web page where they could post information for their customers. They could just type on it right now and clarify. Or even some kind of test server. You know a place where players could test the new updates before hand. Alas no, they prefer to leave their customers in the dark.

    Hi. Maybe if it says mosnter hunt is because it is what they wanted to say, mosnter hunt, i mean they go from more to less, that's all. just wait a little bit and you'll have new moon like before that we had to safe a virgin...

    The wizardry seems to include not one but three bars for the so called "Monster Hunt". So last night I made it to the second Draken reward and a short 4 hours later the first bar showed my progress while the third and new bar has me at zero. Started again at zero picking up progress and any progress awarded last night is stalled . Everyone in to the DSO

    Hi @bilybob since the event started i only have one progress bar like the old Monster hunt event. maybe when it started there was something wrong like always and decided to re-star the event again with only one progress bar. what i like most is there's the same spheres that DSO decided to eliminate from the game... are they gona work again?

    That bug is possible because the progress bar is both level and achievements dependable.
    So if the game is not locking up the bar once you get the first progress point ... it will be highly likely that the progress bar will be changing every time you get a higher level or get more achievement points (at least as long as you meet the requirements).

    As for the wizardry ... once you think they couldn't get any dumber decision they immediately prove you wrong.
    This level of stupidity is on a interstellar level . One needs to play the so called event until dead ... in order to get the lame spheres (which BTW are banned by law) and get ...

    This "new team" really deserve a Nobel Prize in progress bar rewards and "event reworking".

    It is completely unclear why this event was resurrected.. 5 progress in dropping on normal complexity.. it's still fit... but further due to various difficulties, the amount of progress does not increase.. rewards in balls are ridiculous.. generally, my assessment of a redesigned event:

    Oh yes .. funny version of event. Grinding , no buffs , rewards no good.
    And where is a golden hunting badges? :eek:
    I'm still not finished event, but in progress bar , in the end - no badges here , and i need them for final achievement.:)
    And where is my epic anxiety shards? :D. Got that jackpot , just legendary shards.

    There are no hunting insignias ... someone forgot to translate the entire event concept from human to wizard language ... so the new wizards could understand why no one was missing this event.
    For the same reason they "reworked" the Gem drop
    The drop has not just not been improved but on contrary it has been reduced.
    It's a Kind of Magic.

    New Moon Event (new new new 2022)
    it's OK but something in progress drop is strange.
    I know that math in DSO does not follow the rules of the real world but it seems that someone wrote wrong numbers in client/db/else

    Stack progress drop
    difficulty - low value - mid value - high value - +%
    normal - 5 - 10 - 18 -
    painful - 7 - 15 - 27 - +50%
    excruciating - 10 - 20 - 36 - +33%
    lethal - 12 - 25 - 45 - +25%
    infernal - 13 - 26 - 46 - +4%
    merciles - 14 - 29 - 52 - +11%
    bloodshed - 15 - 30 - 54 - +4%
    There is no point playing event on high is lethal pnly map1 (no bosses)

    Drop from bosses is:
    300 - 390 - 560 - 700 - 0 - 928 - 1200 yes in infernal Magotina/Karabossa drop 0 (I tried both)
    0 - +30% - +43% - +25% - 0 - ? - +30%

    Why I must spent scroll, 50 wood and 20 infernal pass to kill boss finishing event in bloodshed in 6 laps
    when I do same in lethal (only map 1) in 10 laps?
    Time is almost same.
    In bloodshed I spent 120inf pass + 300wood (or 50 in group) + 60 fragments and maybe some essences
    In lethal I spent: 100fragments and I can use speed movement build

    Dayum! This is one of the longest Februaries in my life :D

    Moon Events personal feedback:
    I like the new way of collecting progress.
    I don't like clearing these maps for progress, so this way I can only kill bosses and collect progress. At least it gives some purpose of those existing bosses ... since I was avoiding them for a long long time.
    This works better with New Moon event. It is less effective with Full Moon because you need 2 types of essences and mobs to kill in order to unlock and spawn the boss.

    Event bugs - technical feedback:
    Since my tech feedback was deleted last time as "offtopic" ... i will post it once again, with more examples.

    The level requirement is not set to level 20 for all events ... there are events with both lower and higher level requirement and there is a reason for that.
    Level requirements has been erroneously changed for some events including: Smugglers Greed, New Moon, Full Moon.
    There is a reason these events are having a lower level requirement than level 20.
    This is clearly a "bug" since the level requirement is only breaking the event's visibility but not the mechanics. The fix is very easy.
    New Moon and Full Moon are supposed to have level 10 requirement. These events are frequent and are meant to be played by almost every player. These things were broken with the last rework.
    In New Moon there is no progress bar even if the the event can be played and progress collected in vain since the progress bar is missing.


    It is a similar situation with Full Moon event.


    Drops can be collected ...


    but there is no active event showing in the event window ... because of the broken level requirement:


    Smuggler's Greed portals are not working because the level requirement has been erroneously set to level 20 ... instead of the real level 8 requirement .


    I was playing with alt toon last night on Infernal difficulty and I was getting progress from the bosses.
    I will check it out once again.

    You're right!
    Previous Moon events (both) had level 10 requirement.
    I think things changed now.
    For my experiences I think requirement level are:
    - Full moon 20
    - New moon 10

    Thanks. I play 1 run per difficult and only on Infernal (server Heredur) I don't drop progress from bosses (tested white & black queen)

    By the number of Boss Ingredients, it looks like I was playing on Merciless XD
    I did check Infernal with 2 toons and there is no progress drop.
    Nope, it is a bad coding or wrong copy-pasta thing.
    The mechanics are not changed ... check the screenshots above, I can play quests and pick up progress drops but there is no progress bar or the event window is missing. All screenshots were made when the events were active.
    Both Moon events are identical ... they even made the progress bars identical with same amount of progress and rewards at same point.
    If we check the mechanics, few things point out this is a bug.
    - Quests can be played at level 10 but there are specific quests that are Day - Night dependent. That means you need to wait 10 levels until the event is active ... IF it was intentional. But it is not :)
    The other thing is ... take a low level toon and check the portal level requirements ;)
    Normal is 10, Painful 15, Excruciating 20 ... this means if there was no bug players could start playing right from Excruciating ... which make no sense :D

    The Smuggler's Greed event has only one goal ... selling andermant to all players from all levels. That means all characters as soon as they get the daily reward , which is at level 8. It is not made at lower level in order to avoid exploits.
