    Hey
Maybe I'm missing something, but is there any reason why all hotkey, graphic, sound, and other settings are all switching over to default after, what seems to be, every patch, hotfix, and update?
I have a series of adjustments I make to my hotkeys to what I'm comfortable with, and while I was playing a decent amount a bit ago, I didn't incur a bunch of patches and the need to readjust my settings too often. Nowadays, I'm finding that my client has to update more and more often and it's becoming somewhat inconvenient to have to change them each time.
I'm just wondering if there's a chance to get this fixed (I cant see any other negative to players being able to cement their settings?), or if there's something I'm possibly doing wrong and this option has always been available. Or maybe I'm an outlier and this shouldn't be happening
    Thanks!
Also, Apologies if this was posted in the incorrect subforum

Hi, for me, settings reset only if I empty my cache.

I hate having to adjust settings every time I clear the DSO cache (since DSO never deletes old files, which hogs disk space). Here's what you can do:
    1. Open My Computer
    2. Type this into your address bar: %TEMP%\DSOClient
    3. Copy settings.xml somewhere else
That's it! Every time you download a new patch or delete your old DSOClient files, just copy settings.xml back to the %TEMP%\DSOClient folder.

Or use Notepad++ ... and replace the file every time you need to :p
