Flawed ruby

    I am having an issue with the shops related to questing. I keep being asked to buy a ruby that I have the funds for but when I click on the buy button...nothing. I have tried to reload the game. I made sure I have the latest patch. It just won't allow the purchase. When I click on a higher level ruby, which I do not have the funds for, it simply says I need to purchase more funds. Help?

    It is in your inventory.
    You only have to speak with the quest giver again and give him the gem.
    This is a side quest anyway it is not important ... it will give you a chest that will occupy one slot in your inventory for a longer time .
