    So
I'm getting this horrible fps lag during the game
The game works fine for the first 15 min. And then the game start lagging really bad
I''m pretty sure that this is not a hardware temp. Problem bec. I have a water cooling system,so I should be fine
I want to tell that I'm already playing at the lowest graphical settings in the game
    My pc specs
    Intel Pentium 4 3.00 Ghz
    Intel G41 Chipset
    4 GB Ram
    6 GB virtual RAM
Is my hardware causing this problem
    But
I will get a new pc soon and I want to know if it will handle Dso

I'll get the GPU first and it will be ATI 5450 or nVidia 210
Can this new gpu and the P4 handle DSO at any graphic setting?

The new CPU will be Core Quad or Core i3
Can this new cpu and my new gpu handle dso

I suggest that you add some other graphical setting because not everyone has a good pc

    Thanks

If it's progressively getting worse, try opening task manager and keeping an eye on drakensang.exe to see if it starts hogging memory or something.

The Radeon HD 5450 is a pretty low end graphics card, about as low as you can go, not to mention extremely dated. You probably won't be able to run DSO on max with this card. The same for the Nvidia 210. Take a look:

    http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=Radeon+HD+5450

And I hate to shat on your rig, but you really should get a better processor for gaming. Quad-cores are the modern standard, especially if you want to max out visuals.

Meanwhile, you can take a few drastic measure to make the game playable. Try reducing your monitor resolution to the minimum (usually 800x600) and change color to 32-bit if you can. Then just start shrinking the client window size until it stop lagging :D

    Best of luck!

    Thanks for the tip
    Also,
My father doesn't really care about computing and Tech.
I hardly made him buy those for me
So Can I run DSO smoothly on mid or low settings with one of the cards written above with my current CPU?

You will definitely be able to run it on low. Hell, I used to play on integrated graphics, and those are just the absolute worst.

Tbh most games on high quality is just a bunch of fancy effects bathed in a hazy glow. This is why I usually play on low quality, as long as textures are not diminshed.

(fps and strategy games where graphics isn't the most important element. the eye-candy doesn't do much to keep you focused on whats happening)
