Full Moon Event, i'm so confused

Hi. I joined drakensang online like 3 days ago, so I'm a newbie.
I want to ask you guys a question about the full moon event. today I went to varholm and it was night. I saw that I can't do damage to the wolves because I need silver essences. so, when I can get them? some people tell me that I can get the silver essences when is day in Varholm, is this real? I'm too late or I can get them even now? I joined the game in the last three days but I received the notice of the event only today..

The moon events happen every month so after this event is done you can start farming for silver. The next moon event will be in Blackborg where you need fairy wood to finish the event so you could start farming for wood now.

Silver essences and scrolls of silver power can be farmed only at Varholm at day.
If Full Moon event is started then only way you can get them is to buy them from the merchant.

tl;dr you just have to wait till this event is over, when the event is on its nighttime in varholm, when the event is off its daytime in varholm and thats when u farm for silver essence. Only the little gnomes drop em. You need 1500 silver ess to get 1 scroll that acts as silver buff for 5 minutes, that way you can use other essence to kill monsters faster.

 

Thank you all. I see on the shop there is 500 silver essences at the price of 350 altergems and 999 silver at the price of 600 altergems.
It is worth buy them? they are enough for get some items like the red hood armor ?

 

"Red hood armor" is just a costume, it dosnt affect your stats only your apperance. Silver ess are quite expensive, i personaly would recomend you to skip this event if you are not prepared (you didnt farmed ess), afterall you can prepare well for it when it comes next month. Just check moon calendar, real life moon phase (full moon) means that day starts full moon event (same goes for new moon event, you should start farming wood if you want to play that one).
