Full moon this weekend! are you excited or what ?

What do you expect from *updated* event?

What do you want to get out of it and why?

Are the stats up somewhere? I'm curious now.

 

i have 3400 drakens. with this event i will have 3600 to get that draken ring!

 

Only drakens...i play with ranger and this set is absolutely useless...

The draken ring "tearholder" costs 4000 drakens. It costed 400 less drakens in Christmas event because of winter-sale. But it's original prize will be 4000 drakens

 

Are you sure it's useless? There is a bonus for full set and the stats are diferent from what they use to be, plus you don't need CoT to ID it.

 

The level 40 Full Moon items were always 800 CoTs to ID. You can check the wiki for that info. I doubt they will be zero when they are scaling to your level. If anything, they will probably cost more to ID at levels 41-45.

Ah, thank you, I stand corrected and I offer my apology to MasterofPuppets. I read those release notes but I must have forgotten that part!

The thing is, and I hate to be pessimistic, whenever DSO devs announced lowered drop rates of items in the past; they completely went overboard and the items almost never dropped. Free ID's won't mean a lot if we can't find any items. Hopefully, it won't happen this time.

 

1. Not excited
2. Expecting nothing usable except melt items IF they drop
3. Draken and why Draken? Gee, I dunno, maybe for more useful gear than moon events melt gear.

 

Well, you're only human, besides you're not the only one to make these small mistakes (I make plenty of those mistakes).

About being a "pessimistic" concerning the drop-rate, I would rather say "realistic"...low drop-rate is the "order of the day"...but then again we never know, BP might surprise us or not...

 

I don't know what class of hero you play with but, full moon sheild for DK very usable for pvp it got from 100% up to 150% block rate, lightning resistance and damage, sounds good to me.

 

Play all 4 classes.
For me use of any Moon event uniques would just weaken my toons outside of my SW which has no uniques. But even then still think I'll get much better gear going pure drop for SW than Moon gear until I get some Sargons or Dark together on it.
But this is just my preference.
I just answered the OP's 3 questions regarding my feelings toward event gear.

Thank you all for your opinions. I am very excited to take part of this event. I am a new player and don't have either thousands of draken or thousanda of hours in different toons. Thank you BP for this update I know there is always going to be people that do not feel satisfied no matter what you do.

To my fellow players I am asking you to post what drops you get from event!
