    Just vote about the new upcoming PvP change which will destroy all what we did in all these years to build our chars in PvP.
    I don't want to start a war about it, just vote.
    Meanwhile, if you'll vote NO, please search and join our facebook group called "No to PvP Gearless" to help us against this disrespectful change BP is gonna do.

  2. I honestly think that Trakilaki's solution is the best. He mentioned it in a different post, but to summarize;

    Players should NOT be able to achieve 80% on all statistics regardless of what weapon variant they use.

    Although, these upcoming PvP changes BP just announced are most definitely NOT the solution at all. You can't just strip away all the things players have worked really hard for, so I can see why so many of you are frustrated.

    They should however, do a nerf where, for example, players who use an orb/shield/buckler can't achieve 80% everything and 400% critical damage. The same applies to 2h builds of course. Each build should offer something different than the other.

    The new changes are objectively bad, they should not be implemented

    people will have less than 20,000 hitpoints and damage will be around 5,000 so you will survive a couple of hits and you will be able to do some moves before dying, more or less like if everyone were using cube set in pvp now.. i'll say it again, lets wait for this to go live

    Let's make them keep gems in! That could be the factor differentiating between old and new players, while keeping the gap smaller and making things easier to balance out by the global arena buffs/debuffs that are to come.
     
  6. Changes should most definitely be implemented to PvP, just not the current ones suggested by BP.

    they are also deactivating enchatments and set bonuses and unique values

    Runes, gems, enchantments and unique values should remain active in pvp, so that crafting for those who want pvp has a meaning

    BB DSO I wish you the worst ; after piniata+ lvl 55 +buguzers daily +ice mi$$ile mage bug pvp +EA ranger bug pvp + dwarf bug pvp ; you finnally killed my elder patience with that new [EDIT] incoming release that destroy any type of farming we did all thoses years.

    Finally i should havn't came back to be treated on this way ; 7 november a new game will come finally i would like to thanks BP for that nice timing :)

    I will be few days on pvp until 7 november comes to say goodbye to friends/ennemies and then this chapter will be closed

    I don't realize what is wrong with PvP now.
    Most of people know that PvP is pretty balanced now, except dwarfs so all this huge change is not needed anyway.
    They are using this horrible system (every level cap or tier more stats) which is clearly wrong because soon or later we had to reach the best stats possible (all 80%).
    And now just because they don't know how to do to make things balanced, we have to throw away our years farming and money used.

    I agree, PvP need some improvements, but not a huge change.

    Craft 2.0, enchantments, set bonuse and unique values destroyed the PVP. That is a fact, a confirmation, not a personal opinion. Players who have benefited, who have adapted, who have crafted builds will complain, cry, say "bye DSO", but this is the best option for the game.

    Congratz Bigpoint. I hope you stand firm in this change and do not be sensitized by "groundless crying." :)

  14. You and I both know that cube set, crafted, is the meta at the moment. All other builds are inferior to it, especially 2h builds. That's what's wrong with PvP lol. I hate being forced to use one particular set to be competitive in PvP. As I said, shield/orb shouldn't let players achieve 80% everything + 400% critical damage, you just can't compete with that. Another "solution" would be give EVERYONE cube set that's crafted, except those who worked to get that set would be extremely disappointed, wouldn't you agree? :)

    Yes but at same time this helped new player, because the most important uniques for PvP and PvE are easily achievable by everyone.
    Cube set is easy to do and even if you don't craft 4x gold everywhere, you'll build a pretty nice char.
    To be honest I don't know any RPG or similar where people can play 10 different builds, it is always about what is the best one and all copy it.

    I don't like how they doubled or more our stats over the time (level caps or tiers) but nowadays PvP is pretty balanced for 3 classes, apart dwarf. Why do we need to destroy all just because we want more builds which are not coming anyway with a gearless pvp?
    I like to do many builds, I feel what you said about it, but at same time I feel that this change is disrespectful to everyone who worked hard for their char.
    As I said, they shouldn't hurt veterans and people who supported them with hours and money for years, but they should give new player the chance to keep up with them. How?
    More drakens, more events, an easy tutorial with uniques sets as rewards to give them the chance to farm in fatal (Qs) as soon as they reach level 55.
    Because new player have many disadvantage, true, but don't want to pay for BP mistakes all over the years.
    Just make things easier for new player, just implement new items to give different builds.
    Everything is easier and positive compared to this disrespectful gearless stuff.
     
  16. I understand where you are coming from bro, but I think you quite misunderstood what I am trying to imply. Newer players should in no way, shape or form be as strong as the veterans. However, it shouldn't be completely impossible to kill a veteran. When a say "new player" it doesn't necessarily mean someone who just started playing the game, it could be someone who made a new character and has experience in PvP, or someone who took a break for a long time and came back. Regardless, those "new" players stand NO chance at all against veterans, even if these "new players" are absolute beast in PvP in terms of skills. That's the issue in my opinion.

    One last thing I like to mention, cube set is only obtainable by premium users. You mentioned how most games have a certain "best" build that everyone copies. That's because most games do not have a perfectly balanced PvP too. Also, this automatically makes DSO pay to win, don't you think?

    PvP should be based on skill AND investment, not just one of the other. And I can tell you, yes, it used to be like that. I vividly remember defeating high ranked/geared PvP players with my legendary geared, F2P, seasoned centurion ranger just because I outplayed them and I had stats that were reasonable to do so if I put the effort in the battle.

    I've seen your YouTube videos, I've seen your stats, and I don't want to brag, but I consider myself a decent PvP player, but I have outdated gear because I took a break. If you were to fight me, there is absolutely not a single chance I can even get your health down to 50% before you decimate me. It would probably take me 1 minute to kill you even if you just stood still.

    A fact? A confirmation? Who the hell confirmed that? That's all BS, sry. You(Bp team) are not able to make the difference in feedbacks from players with a lot of experience and kids who complain after they lose about everyrhing. Bonus sets and crafting 2.0 ruin the pvp? No, it make unique. Also what is that ruined in pvp? Except SM pvp is pretty balanced and there were a lot of idea which could have fixed easily instead of bringing this *change* in the game and "kill" everyone's work. In this game is already pretty easy to farm everything, all you need is prem...and there are a lot of people, mostly kids who play 1 hour/day or less, which are not even lv 55 or they are not even able to make q run on painful, that will probably never pay on this game either that always complain about dso beeing pay to win. What can i say? Glad you listen to the correct people, who cares about those who played hours daily and invested some money too, there will be new players to come and pay right? Well i really wanna see how your profits will look like after the update when everyone will the same in pvp, also i wanna see how your game activity will look like too, cause those who worked for their stats now are also the ones who played the most. It seems that i started an RPG and ended up playing (or leaving) a MOBA.

    Edit: As i said the game is pretty balanced in pvp ( except dwarf ) and pretty balanced in pve too.
    Dont you think this useless aka "wanna bring the balance* change will actually cause more problems? I feel like pvp with only base of the items working will be less balanced than is it now, that will require a skills change sooner of later which will once again affect the pve balance.

    read trakilaki to understand why the game isn't balanced

    Is it balanced that you are now forced to use only 2H in pve, while 1H are treated as untermensh?
    And they are turning the imbalance to high gear, since they are planning to make the dmg of 2H weapons even higher

    Also if the new changes are implemented dwarves will be favoured

    And yes, op bonus sets have upset the balance of pvp
    Is it balanced that someone can reach 400% crit dmg, 80%, and 80% defenses with 1h/schield?Of course not, you shouldn't be able to do that, if you build your character with a specific build, you must sacrifice something
    If you want maximum defences, you can't have maximum offensive capabilities

    What does the stats you can reach have to do with the balance of pvp? In the way you explained pretty much nothing. If with Ranger with max items/gems etc you can kill a DK/SM/SW with the same items and gems and with a DK you can kill a RA/SW/SM and so on...then i can say the game is balanced.
    About what you said about 1h/2h...those were a problem for balance a little...but not in the way you mention it, they should've made 1h for pvp and 2h for pve from begin. Nobody force you to use a set, nobody force you to play 1h or 2h in pve...is all up to you, but what kind of balance you want it wont ever happen, poeple will always use whats even with 1% better and 2 different things cant be exactly at the same lv. So now 2h is the best for farm...if 1h will became even by 1% better 90% of players will have the same build once again. Thats why i dont care about that and pvp for me is balanced when you can win any class playing on any class.
