I am quite happy with the event. Easy to play and not so boring farm as others event. +1 for re-spawn mobs at map 1

The only negative I can say about it, is that its to bad that the "saved soul" cups are not auto picked up.

Well done devs and plot writers :)

This event is enjoyable to play, yeah..
But is it only me (and my group members) that we get less saved soul drops in difficulty 2 and 3 than in 1? We used a couple of pumpkin candies there, but in those 20 minutes we only got a drop off that little mini boss. The higher the stack size (in difficultier maps) the lower the drop rate? :(

Would love auto-pickup for event items (for all events).

    First Map
    *blinks* *double blinks* *triple blinks*
Am I crazy or something?! How is the first map that great with the atrocious drop?! If I saw more than 20 essences, 5 souls and some gruesome parts it was... well, worth celebrating! Not to mention the rain of white and green items, with occasional blue items.

Given the difficulty I initially thought if I upped up from Normal to Excruciating it would be raining with awesome drop. Boy, was I wrong! Green and white items being dropped everywhere even on Excruciating!!!
I'm really curious what's the incentive for switching to higher difficulties? Give myself more of a challenge so I can slow myself down? Even the double drop for essences and souls is not justified due to the increased time required in doing the map.

    Second Map
Shorter and more decent. The drop slightly improved as compared to the effort required. The entrance cost is a bit ridiculous, but obviously encourages payers again to buy the "urns".

    Third Map
Best of course. I did it on Painful and can't complain that much about the drop. Nothing spectacular but at least I see more event progress.

You must be kidding me... I kill her on Painful (not very difficult admittedly but it was still a challenge), and I end up with 22xevent progress (well, compared to the first map drop that's something), and only blue items. No purple! No legendaries! Is this for real?!
As an upside I am glad to see daily quest feature killing Gwenfara for some extra essences. Thumbs up for that!

I'll keep tweaking with the event and see if I notice anything else worth mentioning.

What rain?, I only got 2 whites and one green (from tree mini boss) for a fully cleared map. I never thought they could surpass Swaywood Dale on a "pathetic drop" level.

Anyway, here we go, I'll try to edit accordingly with further findings:

    • The drop rate of minion parts, thus, the rate at which you acquire entrances for the next maps is quite acceptable.
    • For once someone actually freaking balanced the monsters correctly across difficulties, either that or they made them extra weak on normal so the re-used/outdated formula works, whatever the case, it worked, painful feels like painful and excruciating doesn't feel like fatal 3.0
    • Even though the maps are built with previous ones as a base, they came together pretty well, art team, congratulations again (Zombie arms are funny btw).
    • Quests are interesting and somewhat entertaining, with an acceptable lenght, BUT, there's very few of them.
    • The time/effort required to fill the progress bar seems (oddly) acceptable so far.

    • The gear drops in all maps in all difficulties are mediocre, and that's probably an understatement, I just want to avoid self edits.
    • The light essence drops aren't balanced with the rate at which you acquire entrances for the next maps, I'm guessing it's a cheap cash-grab tactic again.
    • The boss' drops are laughable, why would you think it's appealing to farm entrances+essences to kill a somewhat challenging boss to get white/green/blue items and chance for an average/mediocre unique weapon?
    • This time, event goodies (light essences, minion parts) are the ones unbalanced on the farming map (Oldfield), painful/excruciating fails to offer any value over normal map, the speed at which we can clear the normal map beats the unreal "increased stack size" displayed at the entrance.

And guys (Devs), I'll post this in every feedback thread if necessary: You can't have event/limited time maps with crappier drops than the maps that are available 100% of the time, it's called an event, as in limited time, as in better rewards than what you'd get during your usual gameplay during that limited time.

    - Fun event in general
    - Drop rate of souls is pretty good this time
    - Normal time for the event
    - Zombie hands and exploding pumpkins are excellent
    - challenge is doable in the time given.
    - good storyline

    - Getting only 1 blue drop after killing the boss in excruciating/fatal is insulting!
why should i do the other modes if i can do normal mode and get the same drop?
    - No auto pickup for souls
    - I got better drops from map 1 than the boss
    - boss in the challenge only killable twice without farming like a mad man with the collect 150 of this and 200 of that, small map, fewer mobs, drop rate of drops for the quest is ridiculously low.
    - enough with the timed costumes, if you want to give it, give it. simple as that.

    will edit if needed.

Event weapon from Gwenfara drops as a WHITE/GREY item, so it's easy to miss if you don't read every white item. Also, Gwenfara's weapon costs 16 gold to repair. Can't melt it either because it's white!

So far, I've done 3 or 4 solo runs and not seen the axe.... 1 at normal and the rest at painful.

I generally echo the feedback. i really appreciate multiple levels (normal, painful, excruciating) but would appreciate it if the relative unique drop rates were a little more transparent.

In general, event is rather an improvement. Multiple issues though.

    1. Progress bar is fair
    2. Progress drop, as well as drop of entrance pieces and essences is fair too.
    3. I like the fact you didnt waste time on creating new maps from scratch but copypasted them. We have enough maps already.

    1. Autopickup please
    2. Pickup lag please
    3. Revisit the uniques you introduce, forget about those chaotic bonuses. Spiders, thunders, knights, and some other random crap kills pvp. Pvp is a chaos anyway, but it was much cleaner before without all those extras.
    4. First map is not straighforward. I would love a quest kill 100M mobs with no reward, so I can navigate those large maps.

    More to come

I agree with all that comments before,
    - i also dont see why you put 3 achievements to kill that boss (total 39 runs) if you do 2 runs per hour , because of bad x/50 drop , you will get it hardly, but for an example to kill dragan 3x10 times its easy if you can kill him 10 times in an hour on hardest , and even less time on medium...enough with achievements xD
-Drop of progress is veery bad , and of course , there is port to buy with anders if you want to end it sooner , great, you make money from that , hurray -.-
-weapon is decent for all classes except dk , he got axe , i understand that , but Shield , the 5k reward , you kidding me? I can find better blue shield than that crappy , probably also grey/white item xD
-Drop on the first map is .....(un-commentable)
-You copy maps, i can accept that but bosses , i hate that , you know what i mean ( arachna-dragan spider,sigi-karanpus,grimmag-bloodmage,heredur~sargon,beararch-polar bear, and this nefertari-gwenfara). You are too lazy or what ?

-This is it for these two days, left 12 , we will see all later :) (nebulas, mac users, corruption torsos xD,broken mini, nerfed cloak from mini ,....)

I was doing solo and i got the weapon on normal after 4 or 5 runs, and the next one run also , so its not hard to drop i think. About 10% probably
  17. xxxVenom

I was asking that, because u can't generalise after how many runs a particular item will drop, can u? Some are getting lucky after 10 runs, others need a couple 100 and some others won't get it at all. I see people complaining on fb and everywhere: "..but I did 67 boss kills and didn't get weapon.. bla bla!" Who do u wanna make responsible if u won't get ur drop after a named time? "Randomness" I think they call it ;) If something is easy to get, it's probably not that great anyway :p

But yeah, nah, the drops in general aren't great at all.. Thinking of an event, u should get better stuff.. I get way better drops from normal farming in pw :(

Here's my summary on the event:

Overall, I liked it a lot. It's very atmospheric, very awesome looking, and has tons of spooky concepts brought to life that I enjoyed a lot. This applies to ALL maps; I really loved the look and feel of the gameplay. the only thing I would say is I would have enjoyed a few more 'unique, Halloween-type' monsters.

So what didn't I like? I think that from the very start you should make the body part farming the way it's going to be throughout the entire event. When you first go in, you seem to find them very easily; by the time I had completed the quests for the pumpkins I basically had what I needed. After you enter the castle and leave though, the drop rate seems to decrease significantly, making it feel very obvious that the rate has decreased. Farming 50 the second time around just felt clunky, like it was keeping me from the fun parts.

I wouldn't mind a *few* more light essences dropping either, but the rate is basically fine there.

I have also noticed that there are very few higher ranked drops. Running the map several times over for parts the second time in, I found zero blues and one purple. Everything else was green (which I don't even bother with picking up anymore since none of them compare to the equipment I have, or are worth carrying around, not even for melting).

I've also read that on higher difficulties the drops don't get any better. If this is the case, and getting the unique items is this hard, it sort of weakens the basis for running these events. Yes, playing it through the first few times is fun, but if there is no worthwhile reward, and you don't come away with something you can look at that reminds you and others of how fun the event was to play, you just end up sorta vaguely disappointed. You guys should try to make people say 'Yeah, I remember when I got this skull sheild in that Halloween event... they really did a good job on that one. I hope they do something similar soon.' not 'Well... that's finally over. I guess it was fun.' ...and then promptly forget it.

So far, the drop rate on body parts the second time around seems to be the only thing that's not great about this event so far. I haven't yet fought the last boss, but I'm hoping to enjoy that when the time comes.

Happily, I have nothing *really* bad to say about this event. It's fun to do and to look at and listen to. I haven't reached the end, so I can't comment on that, but it's not mindbendingly hard. I'll comment again once I actually complete it once.

I agree that rewards are mediocre, but the event seems less grindy as well. I could probably do 20 boss runs a day solo if I wanted to, although there is no reason to do more than just enough to finish the progress bar.
The biggest disappointment for me so far has been that it takes 2 runs to finish the repeatable draken quest of 5 drakens. I keep getting 7 or 8 wood.
