Let me tell you a story. I saw that the Release 209 was coming out today. So I logged in to my client, hoping that the new Release would be synched. I saw an update, I let it finish all the way and I got into the game. Turns out that the update updated nothing. It just messed up my keybindings and graphics settings. You can imagine how it made me feel. But this problem actually tortures me for quite some time. I just never gave it much thought. Why does this happen? Am I doing something without knowing it? Is it the game? Can I do something to fix it?

You have win 10 right? Its not about you cleaning files, its about your pc Automatically cleaning some space.

me too same problem. My solution is simpler: i copied DSO client file from temporary to desktop. When the client asks me to download, i quit the client, delete DSO client file in temporary and past my saved one. then i launch the client again and everything is fine

I made a thread a while ago about the same problem... it keeps happening every now and then and it resets everything + makes the client need a re-download of game data. Various "solutions" have been named, but not all work for everyone... I still get it even though I disabled any kind of feature that might be doing it that I could find, from programs or the Windows.
