you could make a gold event, now there is a lot of things that requires gold: items, mounts, pets, cloak, from 1000 to 5000 gold, and its not easy to farm that amount so please think about it.

I'd say no. The best source of gold is from selling green items, and sometimes blues. Aside from crafting, which any end gamer will tell you is a waste of time for now, there is no need for large quantities of gold after you get the 1k gold cloak. The pets and mounts available for gold are not inherently better, and if you are so topped out that you have to have those, it is likely because you have everything else and gold isn't going to be an issue. Plus, the new version of the Defeat the Undefeatables was very generously dropping gold and we've been told that it will return somewhat regularly.

The new ways of getting gold are already spoiling the players ... they want more and more.
I would say ... learn how to manage your resources.
    NO from me.

I have to say, at least in my personal experience, saving up gold really isn't that difficult. Just farm and sell. Easy. It just takes patience. I'm an extremely impatient person, and even I think saving up is pretty easy.
