Good Legend Shields

You could get a very high block rate number with a 240% (4x60% enchants) level 45 shield raised to level 50, 4 parts (NOT shield) of the Atlantis set (set bonus gives +60% block rate) and the DK "Blocker" talent (+40% block rate). I don't know what that number would be, exactly, but it would be very high. I can do the calculation, based on the base block rate of a lvl 45 shield, raised to lvl 50, but it will have to wait a while since I am not on the game currently.

There may be some other ways to raise it, too, but I haven't thought of them.

Edit: I believe the maximum block rate with the shield (637 base at level 50) and bonuses I listed above would be around 3058. Here is my calculation:

637 x (240%/100) = 1528.8 base block rate for shield

1528.8 + [1528.8 x (60%/100)] + [1528.8 x (40%/100)] = 3057.6 total block rate

The above calculation is assuming that the set and talent multipliers work only on the base rate (they do not multiply themselves). I think this is the way those types of multipliers work.

This build would obviously not be very practical, and would only be good in certain specific situations (flag-running comes to mind). Also, as I already stated, there may be more ways to raise the block rate that I have not thought of yet.

i am lucky with my current shield but not as good as u say, i lost ton of COT , i think i tried about 30 40 shield before getting the last one.

 

Well I did not mean anything bad by what I sead, it a expresion for my country and I get that many are not familiar with it, so I got banned for it ...oh well, we move on hehe

There is a word in game that Legendary Shields drop by monsters in Q2 are the best and almost always give realy high block rate and damage reduction by parring. I don't know how much of this is true or none of it, it's just a word in game.

I now have 6 legendary sheild in my inventory beside other legendary stuff, I wish for sale of CoT, I mean big sale where we can buy 10000 CoT for 6-7k Andermant.

 

3600 is around 80 % yes....but this u get only with atlantica set , if you use your normal shield.

 

Yeah ...we (who have) would have to get rid of Cloaked Wrath to get more block rate so it's not an option for us mate.

 

I would only use the Atlantis set (four of the five parts, but not the Atlantis shield) for running flags in 5v5 (while avoiding combat). I would trade to three Sargon's armor pieces in place of my three Dark armor pieces in that case as well.

I sometimes go to Gorga normal, or other Atlantis maps (level 40+ mobs), to look for those pieces, but I am not trying very hard to find them. My performance in 5v5 matches is above average, so I have no great need for the set right now.

I would think since you have Cloaked Wrath, you would want Dark Armor for the increased critical chance(?). All I need on my DK is Cloaked Wrath and Destruction Seal, and I'll be finished building

 

Nope, I can get critical on ring's, weapon decoration and have it on my amulet so i personaly think its better to have 9K and 10K HP or more with full keen set and 3.5K - 3.6K armor with sargon and agood sheild then 7-7.5K HP with dark armor and 4k+ armor and good sheild. I had at one moment 4.1K armor with dark and did not see much diference, but with higher hp a big diference. So my point is, get a good shield and raise that HP as high as posible for you.

Getting crit chance that way is a good option. I'm using Dark set, have one good Ring of Life and one good Ring of Death, full Keen's set and a very good (3x/1x) legendary shield. I think I may switch to the new Gnob rings and amulet (if that is truly what they are going to be) when I have enough Draken to buy two or three of them. I'm adding HP by improving HP gems, but when I finally get the full Sargon's set I will try it for sure. More HP is definitely nice, especially since there are no "diminishing returns" on HP (unlike armor) and you get more HP from knowledge levels (again, unlike armor). Cheers

the best shield for me is 2-2. but u must find bigs stats well so all this is 3-2 with the 40% of tree blocker

mine is 2-2 1600 and 1020 stil i need better ofc but no luck until 105 open shields until now

 

same here mate, lots of sheild opened but not one good as it should be.

 

all war have that dream especially me but i need 2x60 and 2x60 so we have and 1x40 from blocker in tree and then goodnigjt to all rangers and wars

 

I say, we will never get perfect 60% stats on a shield but 58% it's very posible.
