and 39,91 shoots arent - 39910 inc dmg

totally inc 58976 dmg


3x rate 1x dmg
1806 block rate = 65.31%
774 block dmg= 61.74%

means 65,31 shoots are reduced by 61,74% - 382,6reduced dmg x 65,31 shoots 24987inc dmg

and 34,69 shoots arent blocked 34690inc dmg

totally inc dmg 59667

better seems to be a 2/2 than 3/1 but just a bit )

100*1000 dmg is not realistic. Usually people have around 10k hp at best unless your a DK with awesome hp gems and armor. You cannot take more damage than your full hp in PVP. If you calculating for PVE, still same thing because if you multiply the 10k damage calculation by however many times the result will still be 2x of each better. It doesn't matter if the damage is split into sections, the results will be the same because you do the same calculation for each section. Associative property of math bro. Trust me, you can try this for any case and 2x of each will win. You can calculate at 60% each stat too. It is people like to believe that 3x block rate 1x block damage wins because they WISH to believe what MOST believe without any basis. If you do the math, with the calculations I showed you, you will see 2x of each is better even if people don't want to believe it

 

hmm ... am gonna stick to 3x block rate - 1x dmg reduction couse that dmg reduction works only if you block.

 

/removed/ why not 4x block rate? Just add block rate everything then! Why not just add armor? No need to have "chance" to block at all.

There's no point of having high Blocks (damage reduction) if you can't block and 5% more damge reduction is not gonna do wonders so it's better to have 3x up block rate (by 50%).

 

By that argument, as I stated, why not buff you armor value, no chance at all. That is a bad argument, just saying. If you don't believe 2x each is better as proved then go ahead and aim for your 3x and 1x. Your account not mine.

 

Well buffing up armor is poinless couse your gonna lose a hole lot of hitpoints, so the best way to go is high-hitpoints and a shield with high-block rate, bump level on shield and you'll have more chance to get realy low dmg to you.

 

and put a lot of diamonds on your gear

 

There is one thing that seems to get overlooked a lot about block. Block works against many magical attacks as well as physical. Having a high block rate is very desirable if you are a 1h weapon and shield DK.

However, likewise, block damage also works with magical attacks. Therefore, you need to consider the highest amount of damage blocked with blockrate+block damage together so my calculations hold true.

hey I found crap 2 times in 3 days, 3070 gone for crap I am very angry almost 4 months of farming for crap

You guys do not know how lucky you are, always finding good shield and me always crap, so I decided it's not worth puting time in to farm a legendary shield (for me anyway) couse it will always give crap stats, so unfair to me couse I put in months of farming for just one good. I hate the system that gives stats on legendary shield, there is no sence of it, realy bad.

Critical has no space on shield and damage to. There should be only, block rate, damage reduction and hitpoints.

thnx to this thread i was so motivated that spent 13k cots iding legendary orbs which i saved for months and guess what i got? $#!@ load of crap.
all my six months of efforts just went puff. lost hope on legendaries. no hope on uniques thnx to stupid drop rates. no hope on event gears thnx to variable/negative stats crap. this is so damn furstrating....

 

nice shield but bad redcue mys have 56.5% reduce
