Grimmag drop after rel171

Hi there, just wanna let here some numbers after trying grimmag fatal mode runs.... After rel171, so far 0 uniques, so i guess i'm of the group of "unlucky" players, then i will have to go through matery fragments wich means 27500x4x3=330.000
85.000 more for stone 415.000
Just for weapon deco, and for boots will be:
25000x4x3=300.000
85.000 another stone, another 385.000... total amount of 800.000 matery fragments.... by farming EVERY DAY doing 1500 frags per day it will takes 533 days to complete.... i mean... do you consider anyone is able to do that??... DOES IT WORTHS 533 days of playing???? You should check it out....

 

I farm an average of 5k an evening while doing my dailies because I use the % increased frags buff to farm Q1's Materi Fissures. They drop 50-60 depending on if you have the 10 min 10% buff from the other kind of the podium. I'm farming a little slower right now because of the birthday event, but 5k is normal.

Even still, that is insane to consider since that is still about 175 days.

 

5K???... so do you get materi fissures each entry??... cause i re-enter and re-enter and almost doesn't appear may be is about "luck" again....
A lil question, each time you run for frags... do you continue the run up to grimmag?, Or just reset?

 

I enter, run to the podium, check if it is fissures, and reset if it isn't. I get 250-300 per fissure run depending on buffs, so 5k is 16-20 maps with the red podium over the course of one hour. I have the universal map and I use that to do the resets, so I don't even need to clear the mobs to get out of the map.

Regarding time;
I can check/reset a map in about 30 seconds and run a fissure map with a reset in about 1:30 min.

So if I need 20 to get my 5k, that is 30 min spent running and destroying and 30 min spent checking.

In 30 min of checking, I can check about 60 maps.

This means, in the worse case, over the course of an hour, I check a total of 80 maps, and about 1/4 of them have the red portals.

The only hard part of this is having enough defense to survive the run through while also destroying the fissures.

 

Feels like farming 5k mats is < from simply playing the game for an hour. Even if the drop rate for those uniques is less than efficiently farming mats for 160 hours, your character would benefit way more from just playing the game imo.

Hard to find much use out of mats imo, aside from buying tp scrolls. I'd rather go for the thrill of gambling from farming/crafting near perfect legs over farming mats methodically just so u can get those T3 boss sets.
