Well I have been told by a large sum of people that I should post this in the forums and some even said i should look into working for BigPoint lol. I have what seems to be ideas that would create the "perfect game". Isn't that what we all have been looking for after all? Does it exist? I think it COULD exist. To go even further beyond that...the bigger picture from a business perspective...it would bring in a lot more revenue. These ideas are fail safe in this. That being said...lets get to the good stuff. The master plan. We have PVP...we have PVE...but what would kick it up a bit? What would break down the piece of the pie? WHAT...would bring all other gamers off of their current games to Drakensang? I have the answers. Guild Wars. Lets go deeper...to the blueprints. Every Guild would have a name of course. Every guild would have a leader naturally. Every guilds leader would choose a color for their guild. Every member of a guild would have a sash of some sort in plain sight to any other player that the guild master could modify. Now that we have that out of the way...the territories...once a Guild claimed one, it would be that guilds color on the map with their own modified flag in the center of that territory. Now...in order to STEAL a guilds territory...you would have to be in a guild...and it could be no less than 5 of you to register for that guild war. Just like you would for capture the flag but under a Guild tab, not pvp registration. The cap for the offense could be 15. (if possible) The defenders would not have to be online for this to happen. At midnight gametime, the guild war registration could be yielded until morning. or for atleast 3-4 hours. When the guild actually does attack, their goal would be to remain in 1 of 5 areas within the territory on the map for 60 seconds at a time. all members in the group would have to be in the area (radius).NOW...if there are not enough members online on the defensive side? will there be some kind of equalizer? YES. Guild Tech points. The ponts could be earned from "Guild Quests". Kind of like daily quests. When a Guild goes out and does one of the guild quests and completes them...they would recieve "Tech points" the guild master or an officer even could spend the points on things that would strengthen the guild. Example. For territories...lvl 1 Gremlins. Price; 500 Tech points. OR for indevidual members. Example. Mage Defense lvl 1. (All members in guild gain resistance to other mage players by 2 points) Now the Territory catagory with the gremlins would make level 1 gremlins spawn in your territory during a guild attack as a defense. There could be various kinds or Territory defensive monsters to help defend your guilds territory. And there could be various different things to improve your guild members against other players. BUT it would only take effect in the guild wars NOT in outside pvp battles or registered pvp battles. If a guild did not have a territory then they would not have an active color obviously...only a sash. I have many ideas to bring in money as well...Example. The guild member capacity is 50. To get another 10 members added on to the capacity it would cost 13,000 Anderment. Another Example. To create more detailed sashes and flags for your guild you would need to spend 50,000 Anderment. So that is half of my idea...The whole thing would take pages to write so if your at all interested don't be afraid to leave a comment! I will gladly explain more in increments.

And if i was not clear enough on how to actually claim a territory for your guild from another guild, you would have to capture the 5 small areas within the territory itself for 60 seconds per area. Then your Guild would obtain the territory. If you died trying to capture the area, you would respawn at your starting point after 10 seconds after death. And Guild Quests could be done as many times as your members want to do them in a day to get as many tech points or guild points as possible to upgrade your guilds members and territories defenses. The sum of all the experience from guild quests could also be added up with a guild exp bar just like your character has and leveled up as well. Shown in the guild Tab maybe where your (tech points) guild points are.

Also...guild quests for larger amounts of guild points would be like going to kill a boss thats challenging for even a large group. For a less amount of guild points, the guild could go and kill 100 or 200 less challenging monsters such as bog beasts or skeletons.

i know i for one would spend a lot more of my time and money on this game if it were even similar to this. But the question is, would you?

Also adding in game "guild mail" to go in all members "guild inbox" as well as a "guild announcement board" to leave short announcements that could be seen as long as it was left up would be helpfull...

If enough people like this idea and post atleast "Yes" to my thread...we might get it from BigPoint guys. Its happened before.

Quite a post! You can add a poll option to your suggestion and maybe it will get additional participation from the quiet forum readers.

In the future, please use the "edit" option to merge together your thoughts into 1 post instead of posting multiple times in a row. It makes the forums look a bit cleaner and keeps people from spamming the forums.

You described the coming Elder Scrolls Online. Massive guild wars, guild territories, etc..
The old forums has so many threads about guild wishes and again I have to ask why the team hasn't merged the old and new yet.
Not for or against guild activity expansion, but with especially the US servers, I play Tegan btw, at an incredibly low player base, for us Guild Wars would be a bit on the pathetic side.
And to entice players to play, well, that's the conundrum. There's too many flaws in game now that need to be fixed and balanced to stop the current player base from the exodus cycles.
Have to say the game map is too small to be able to handle being broken up into territories. I don't think guild wars on that scale would ever work in DSO. And again it would cause grief between F2P and P2P because guilds would seek the strongest players and bluntly put, those are the ones buying gems and buffing their characters abilities up. The F2P would be passed over to form their own weaker guilds and they would of course lose battles and again the forums would be full of anti-P2P ranting.

Another post about guild stuff again.... I'm glad draken is different so that not everyone crowds into the good guilds and all the good guild's members all turn stronger and strong. Please, no guild stuff and no daily event crap like 99% of the other mmorpg games now.

Thanks Biz, sorry i was very tired and not thinking clearly lol. And as for the F2P P2P issue, perhapse having a seperate server for the guild wars would be a win win for all instead of turning every server into one with guild war capability. Keep these the same and make new servers. Could then work out the kinks in the process :). Kind of like my guild. there is a pvp side and a PVE side.
