How can I improve the gears?

hi, i a new level 55 player and can solo painful difficulty PW. But the dropped gears are useless for me. Should i try to challenge higher difficulty or keep farming painful mode?

 

Hello shanghaidax , welcome to DSO Forums. As to improving your gear...there are many posts around here where you can get lots of insight as to how to make progress in the game. Depending on which class you play you can pick and read one of the sub forums HERE.You will find out in there what items/gear other players use and how they build their toons. Once you have a general idea of what gear you want to equip you will perhaps want to start crafting; you can get a lot of help with it by reading our Drakensang Online Wiki. Fundamentals of crafting are to be found in Crafting 2.0 section of the Wiki - get yourself familiar with those first and then read on in Crafting-extension section.
