In pvp, 10% increased attack speed will make a difference?

Currently my attack speed is 1.00. Will it make any difference if I up it to 1.10 or 1.15?

    thx

It will make a difference, but not as much as you want most likely. I'd say the target for PvP attack speed would be 1.5+.

Thnk u for quick answer. I got a very nice wand with +16% IAS but cant use it atm as I dont meet lvl requirements. And it has sockets so i could put the gems and get the AS to about 20%.

That's not bad, and it depends on which class you are. Spellweavers can get away with slower attack speed if they are using Fireballs and focus on increasing their damage as high as possible (I still prefer speed and the game feels sluggish after having 2.0 a/s though).

Rangers really benefit from having higher attack speed since for them to do any considerable amount of damage the opponent has to be marked first. Shortening the time between a green arrow and an orange one is critical and aids in aiming.

DKs also benefit from higher attack speed since they need to be able to execute their skills before their opponents can run away/debuff their stuns.

As you can see, I am a fervent believer in high attack speed and trying to increase it to as high as possible :).
