How to group

I and my friend are in the same area but i can't see him. His name is grey on the screen. We just started the game. May be we need to reach specific area or level?

 

You don't need to reach any particular area or level in order to group. Unless you're still in the tutorial, that is. I'm pretty sure you cannot form a party while there, but once you've reached Grimford, you should have no problems with it.

If that's not the case, and if you've sent the invitation and your friend accepted it successfully, you two should be able to play in the same group. I've experienced it a few times that either I, or my friend had to exit & re-enter a map in order not to have the name grayed out while indeed being on the same map. So, just do that; see how it goes.

 

^mor is right,it happens sometimes when you group and ur friend is on the same map but in a different instance,just exit and enter that map and you will see them.

 

there are many maps of the same maps you could be in 1 instance of Swerdfield pastures and he in another. Thats because if there was only 1 map of swerdfield it would be to busy. So after making group 1 player needs to exit the map and re-enter and you will both be in the same instance then.
