i became lvl 50. what now?

hey, i am a ranger who recently became lvl 50. i honestly don't know where to farm, and improve my items. it is really hard to find a group, and i don't have a guild. all my dso friends stopped playing. it is really frustrating. i was really happy to become lvl 50. i can't solo any qs. i need a group/guild. but i really don't know how and where to find one. can someone help me with this?

 

There is a section on the forum for guild posts. You can read through those that are recruiting. Most have a description so you can try to find one that best matches your play. Make sure to note which server they are on as it must match yours.

You can also post to ask to join a guild. Those recruiting watch the forum (normally) and may send you an invite.

I'm also a Lvl50 Ranger, with a couple of low- to mid-40's alt toons (Rangers + 1 SW). Solo, F2P. As have you found, PWs are too tough ... until I finally had enough Draken to buy some Dark equipment and boost my DPS.

I've come to realize that PWs should be tackled as early as possible with my alt toons. I don't know the statistics, but it seems that as you progress in levels, the monsters grow disproportionately stronger, so waiting until a toon is Lvl50 then starting PW campaigns is a mistake.

My latest alt Ranger first got a taste of Grimmag at about Lvl 41 ... I wouldn't say it was easy, but doable. He's now on Q3, and I need to get him back there ASAP, as he's leveled to 47 ... meaning the mobs are going to be getting too tough for him unless he gets lucky with a drop or two. I'd given up on Q1 with my Lvl50 Ranger until I picked up the Dark gear (not a full set, but 3 pieces give me a solid boost), so he's finally finished that and is occasionally dabbling in Q2. In reality, my alt 47 Ranger is now my main toon.

Of course, this doesn't do your current Lvl50 any good, as you're already in bad shape.

So, consider Draken farming then buying some better gear so you can survive those PW q's. Or, starting an alt toon, get him into PWs by Lvl40 or so, giving him a chance to survive and even thrive as he's likely to find gear that will help him progress.

 

Farm Nahuatlan, cradle of death or cradle of life until you get better weapon and armor.You should have 3000+ base dmg (for ranger i think it should be around 2000 with 30%+ crit.it's hard to say because i'm steam mechanic and sm dont need crit stats),5000+ hp, 40%+ physical dmg reduce. The best map and easiest to farm for me is map 1 q3, it's easily to poke mobs there and you can kill 3 miniboss faster than other map. Another tip is you should save all blue ( or maybe even pink) ess for farming 3 mini boss at map 1 q3 to make the farming faster and safer.
