I see no point to the Armor/Weaponsmith merchant... Why would you spend your gold/silver/copper on any of their items when they don't even sell green, blue, purple items etc?

There's absolutely no point in buying a "normal" white item for your hard earned coins, when moments later you will 100% get a green or blue item of the same kind from a monster drop, which means you will have wasted your coins.

So tell me, what's the point? Why not have the merchants sell green, blue, purple items? There's not much use for your coins otherwise seeing as most other useful equipment is bought with Andermant.

Only useful thing coins is spent on is to repair broken equipment and fast travel to Urban areas etc if you don't have premium account.

    Partly agree, partly disagree.

What's the point of any drop if you can just buy them?
Use coins for green essences, buffs, travel, repair, upgrading your knowledge tree, cloaks, i mean, 1000k is pretty much for a f2p, use it when you craft gems. Who knows, maybe there's more, but saving money isnt that easy if you're completely f2p and still want to get some glyphs of power.

Up to lvl 30 it might come in handy to be able to buy grey items. After that you'll always have or find enchanted items that are better, or you'll be able to just upgrade with glyphs. So from that point up and higher, there might not be much use for them. Except of course when you re lvl 30, buy first or second hand items and upgrade them to lvl 40 or higher. That might help you deal more damage then the average blue or purple items at lvl 30.

adding slots and upgrading white items is v cheap. a white weapon at a new level can be better than your old blue/pink/leg one :)

and ya I agree with above poster, there's lots of things to spend gold on. the better your gems get the more expensive it is to combine them and move them around is one example.
buffs are another, perhaps you haven't discovered those yet?

I see, thanks for making this a bit clearer to me.
By the way, if you buy a white (normal) item of let's say level 40, and I'm level 40. Then if I put Glyphs of Power into it to increase its stats, it will become level 41, and then I won't be able to use it cause I'm level 40, right?

no, you can use upgraded to 50 items as long as they start at or below your level :)

*if you do upgrade white items, don't forget to melt them later, rather than sell them!

Yeah, melting them will give me back the Glyphs of Power, right?
    So they aren't lost.
