i suddenly lost all my characters

When i logged in today, I was prompt to create a new character. I don't know what happened. I've two characters created that I'm using alternately but they were just suddenly gone. Was it because of that r146 patch or was it just me? I mean, it's kind of frustrating. I lost all the progress that I've made. I have to start from the beginning!

 

Double check to make sure you are selecting the same server in the previous screen. You can only play a toon on one server.

 

I see what happened. I did check and I realized that I'm on a different server. When I switched to the one I've been using before, all my previous data are there. Thank you. I've panicked for a moment there. I'm only new to online games so I'm sorry if I'm being stupid right now. That was kind of embarrassing now that I know what the problem is. I'm sorry. >.<

Please check that you selected the same server, as BigPapa mentioned.

If you are still unable to locate your characters, then please contact support with the following information...

• Character names
• Server
• Whether you play through a partner site or directly through DSO

... and they'll try to get things sorted for you.
